Jones Photo is a world-class photo lab serving the nation's top professionals as well as non-professional photographers who require the highest quality. Since 1947, Jones Photo Lab has been serving the needs of southern Arizona photographers. Starting as a small black & white photo lab, we welcomed the growing interest in photography that followed the end of World War II. When color film entered the scene, we had the first color processor in the state of Arizona. When digital photography took the world by storm, we were there.

Aside from the good encounter with the gentlemen there. I was not happy with the results of the photos I had taken to be printed. I only asked for two to be blown up.touched up and printed. Both photos were entirely too dark, and there were two visible white spots on the face of one of the subjects. The woman working there named Pam was not friendly at all.
There was absolutely no eye contact from her, and even though I tried being friendly with her she continued her cold demeanor through the entire time. I am unlikely ever to go there again. My prints were under five dollars which I thought was not worth a confrontation. Obviously it was not worth my time, and I see I wasn't worth their's.

I have been a loyal customer for last 3 years and recommended at least 10 friends, i have recently decided to no longer give jones my business. when i first started coming here the staff was so friendly and welcoming. remembering my name every time i came in and had what i needed within a day or two. now they have an all new staff, who are not friendly and to put it nicely, extremely incompetent of doing their jobs. no one there every knows what is going on, the employees are rude and will give costumers attitude for no reason. ive had multiple instances of them not following through with promises about my orders and when i called to ask about them, i get hung up on. I simply cant give this business my money any longer and neither will my friends.

Numerous times I was offered a chance to develop my film elsewhere online where it's cheaper and more convenient. However, I chose to stay local and have been getting my film developed at Jones for a while. Recently, I was met with a bad experience. I went to develop one roll I had shot over the weekend. The lady behind the counter was very tired which I get because sometimes, it's a long day. However, as I was getting my information taken more specifically my first and last name she began laughing at me.
Why was she laughing? I don't know. I then asked if I could print a single sheet of black and white paper and was told no and that "we don't do that here" I understand but when it's a single sheet of paper that will cost you 10 cents, really? I recall reading once Jones does passport photos so I'm assuming people would need documents printed too right? Makes sense.
Unfortunately after feeling ridiculed and harassed, I do not think I will be returning to Jones. As someone who loves film, you should look into developing elsewhere. Also, half my roll pictures were flipped and inserted incorrectly and came out wrong.

Went to jones photo to have around 40ish negatives scanned in and transferred onto a thumb drive that I BOUGHT and provided, The woman tried to charge me OVER 100 dollars and when I was flabbergasted and wanted my negatives back she got snarky told me "we're the only people in town that scan in negatives" I took my negatives and walked out. You have better luck buying a scanner and doing it yourself. So much for keeping the art of film alive.

I wouldn't recommend them. I ordered a 2'x3' floating canvas through their app online. The app is very clunky and non intuitive. After the order was placed, they gave me no estimation of when to expect it. I went in twice to check and never was given an eta and was told the turnaround was usually quicker than what I was getting. Now about the product.
I submitted a huge photo, but the resolution of the finished product did not match the file. Nor did the color. They gave me an option to BUY color correction for their printer or "print as is". I assumed that meant they'd print my photo to true color and chose that option, sadly the saturation was weak and faded. I wasn't satisfied considering the $150 cost.

Truth be told, one of the worst film developing places I have ever been to. You are better off shipping it to some other film processing lab. For one, they charge you a flat rate of $5/$6 per roll of film and an additional ~39 per photo scanned and delivered via Dropbox or Google Drive. On top of that they delete your photos after a month so be sure to save them all!
It takes 2-3 business days just to get them developed here and half of my photos came back looking muddy and like paintings? I would honestly give this place 0 stars if I could. f*** this place

Really.just reviewed our credit card statement and we were charged $227.00 to process and develop 13 rolls of film.that comes out to $17.50 a roll of film.frankly that is ridiculous. Jones used to be the best in town and the most budget friendly in town. Shame on you for sky rocketing your prices this way.especially in today's economy. After frequenting you for over a decade we will not be back.

An excellent locally owned business with knowledgeable staff. Had several prints and framing jobs done here with great results on each occasion. They could do more to update their website information, but as long as you're not afraid to ask questions of the (genuinely helpful) employees you'll be well taken care of.

I find this place to be snooty and vastly overpriced for amateurish work. I will be sending my film out to one of the many online film developing places from now on. The product is a higher quality for the same cost. I'm not sure who prints their color over there but they need to take a photo class. Greens where electric cyan. Skin tones were purple magenta. I miss Photographic Works. At least they knew what they were doing. F+

I found Jones through another shops recommendation. I have some photos that I did not have the negatives for and wanted to at least get digitally saved and also wanted a copy of one for a poster for a gift. The staff was amazing and helpful- these photos were over 20 years old! I had them re-matted and copied all in a timely manner and the end result was beyond my expectations! I will be back again! Excellent customer service!

Once again, I'm absolutely thrilled with the quality and professionalism of Jones Photo! I walked in with an image on my iPhone and worked with Debbie to create a 17"x36" canvas-wrap, floating frame print as a gift for my boyfriend. Debbie made recommendations about the finish, texture, coating, and mounting -- and I agreed, even though I wasn't too sure.
The final product was absolutely gorgeous! What my boyfriend loves most about the print happens to be all of Debbie's suggestions! And I've been elevated to "Best Girlfriend Ever" status! Thank you, Debbie! Thank you Jones Photo!

They don't have a price list anywhere on their website with turnaround times for anything. I think maybe you have to download something for that but all I want is prices and turnaround times without downloading anything. That should be on their website for all to see.nice an easy like any other lab that's on the internet. Why all the secrecy?

I am really disappointed with my experience here. I am new to film and decided to have my film developed at Jones. The man who I gave my film to made me feel as though I was a bother to him the entire time he was writing my slip. When I received my order they charged me $5 for a CD with 1 scanned photo. I literally paid $5.39 for one scan, what the heck?!
I had told the man helping me that I just wanted 1 random photo scanned to make sure the light seals were good on my camera. he didn't even bother to offer me the free option of bringing my own USB like I later found out my boyfriend had done in the past. they also didn't bother to cut and sleeve the film for me, once again like my boyfriend had done in the past, so now I am stuck cutting it myself in order to do my own scans. since I've found better options online to get my film developed.
I was willing to support a local business but not at the expense of being treated poorly and swindled with hidden and unfair fees. If you are looking to get film developed here, just make sure you are informed or else you might end up being taken advantage of.

Just had my first print job done at Jones Photo and it was a quick and painless process. I ordered 150 4x6s for an album through their online ordering process and picked them up the next dag. They looked great and the lady's working were very kind. It costs more than places like Walgreens etc, but the products are superior in pretty much every way. I will absolutely return.

Left photo to be blown up to 8x10 from negative. It was off contact sheet and they wrote down the correct negative number, but ended up printing the wrong photo. Simply didin't pay attention. They did not offer a discount or credit for their error. And to make matters worse, it was a Christmas gift and there was no time to fix the problem.

TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. Have had Jones Photo do our pictures for many years but this took the cake. We had 2 old photos cropped and enlarged and when we picked them up the tops of the heads on each were cut off. There was plenty of room to crop on the bottoms, and we specifically told them we wanted the images left with the maximum head room so the frames would not cut off any of the heads in the images.
Well not only did we have to go back 3 times, we were never even told they were sorry and that they messed up. We won't be patronizing this place any more. We could have had these done at Walgreens for 1/2 the price and certainly they would have done a better job. SORRY JONES.

This location has a lot more products available for purchase, but I avoid this location because of the poor customer service. Some of the people who work here are fine but a couple of them really come off as brash, rude, and uncaring to the point that I really don't even want to deal with them. A while ago one of the guys working there actually seemed happy when I was having a problem with something and didn't seem to want to help me. not cool.
Not cool at all. Additionally the person in charge of printing has messed up several of my orders in the last few years and I've had to have photos reprinted several times. Sometimes I just let it go and basically lose money since I paid for a product that was messed up but it's just not worth it to me to keep dealing with these guys sometimes.
Since I've been going here for many years, I can honestly say they aren't as good as they used to be, and their level of service and accuracy has really gone down. Anyway they are still better than some of the other stores around town-- I prefer their location on Broadway though.

The customer service here is great! I called abs left a message asking if they had a specific camera accessory, they called me back promptly and informed me that they didn't have what I was looking for, and referred me to two other camera shops in Tucson and happily provided me with their location and phone numbers!

I don't know what I do without Jones. They can handle it all. Their staff is knowledgeable and attentive, their products are high quality, and their processing is second to none. When we first moved to Tucson 6 years ago, I tried out a few locally owned photography labs, and all the others paled in comparison to Jones Photo's product and service.
