Gottschall Photography, based in Raleigh, NC, strives to be your photography department. With capabilities of studio and location photography, we are able to create images for any of your needs. Examples of these are: corporate executive portraits, on location editorial-style portraits, photography of your products, and photography of your business (either inside or out) and even photography of your events.
The studio portrait is a traditional business portrait, photographed with a plain background. The studio sessions last between a half hour and an hour. The location portrait is similar to a studio portrait but is exclusively shot at your place of business, incorporating indoor and/or outdoor elements, such as furniture, architecture, and landscaping.

I needed a professional business photo, something that I could use in a variety of settings. I knew that Cheryl did executive photos along with a multitude of other types of photography. I am currently working with Cheryl for the second year in a row on a big project. She provided beautiful, high-quality images for me that were perfect for my project. Cheryl worked very hard under my non-profit budget and was very flexible. She took photos on many different days, and I believe she even shot some locations multiple times to ensure the perfect photo.
Her artistic style produced some of my favorite photographs I have ever worked with. As a graphic designer, I know that images can make or break a layout. I was very pleased with Cheryl's work, which definitely enhanced my designs! I also loved the way Cheryl posted proofs for me to see. I was able to view photos for a project that lasted several months as she shot them and favorite certain photos. It's a convenient and easy way to purchase my favorite images! I would (actually am) work with Cheryl again. I recommend her for any commercial photography needs.

Cheryl assisted me before starting her own photo studio. She's smart, funny, hard-working, easy-going, great at problem solving and extremely talented. Her photos are amazing, technically perfect and highly creative. And she's the rare photographer who's as good at portraits as she is at still life and interiors. And she has a great dog.
