Soben Studios specializes in unique, creative and organic portraiture - from newborns to celebrities and everyone in between. We work primarily in the Chicagoland area, but we do travel throughout the United States for commissioned sessions. We celebrate relationships, and consider it an honor to be invited into our client's lives. I am not a traditional photographer, though I am trained traditionally and professionally. I've worked in the corporate world, and still do sometimes. As the studio director, I spend a lot of my time communicating with our clients. I love meeting new families and welcoming them into the Soben family.
It is connected portraiture that celebrates relationships, obtained through moments which organically erupt through play. It is natural images with beautiful light without distracting props and patterns. It is imagery that is deceptively simple yet fully authentic. Rich in textures and layers, yet natural, vulnerable, and full of soul- just like you.
Our natural light studio is located in Highwood, a lakefront suburb along Chicago's North Shore. Our suburban North Shore neighborhood blends small city sophistication with upscale village charm. The studio is a comforting and calm place for babies, children and parents. We take great care to ensure the safety and comfort of you and your child during your photography portrait session.
