Professional photographer Anne Kerr is a premier Chicago photographer and Northwest suburbs photographer providing portraits for babies, children, seniors, and families. Based in Lake Zurich, location sessions take place in scenic locations such as Barrington, Long Grove, the North Shore, and downtown Chicago.
Sitter sessions are ideal for your little one who is sitting but not yet walking. Very well the cutest age ever! This is a perfect session for parents wanting to capture their baby 6 -12 months of age. Sweet selections of our carefully curated wardrobe are available at the studio. Our gorgeous lighting and detailed hand editing guarantees your baby will have the best portraits in the area, bar none.
Family sessions take place at sunset from May through October. These sessions can be reserved for all of your immediate family or multiple siblings. They typically last 45 minutes to an hour, however, we take as long as needed to fill your gallery with gorgeous images. These sessions are full of play and cuddle time to keep children engaged and moments candid and authentic.

Aside from being a truly humble and kind person, she is an inspiring artist and a true professional, in every sense of the word! Look at Anne's portfolio. Her photos are amazing. They truly are works of art. Her passion for photography shines when you meet her. She has a way of working with the kids, getting their attention, and capturing the perfect shots that blows me away. I really don't know how she does it. Anne has photographed my kids several times now and each time I am more anxious than the last to see what she has created. There is a reason why Anne holds the title of "The Best Emerging Children's Photographer of 2012!"

I am so pleased with an proud of the photographs Anne Kerr took of my daughter. My daughter is an amazing kid, but let's face it: she's a scowler, and has been since the moment she was born. We are rarely able to get her to smile for photos, and yet Anne had her smiling and laughing during the session and was able to capture the happy child we know.
She magically know how to make children feel comfortable. The hardest part of the shoot was remembering to stay out of her way and let her communicate with our child. We also really appreciated that she took some pictures of our daughter that reflected how serious and thoughtful she can be. The "unsmiling" photos were just as beautiful as the smiling ones, and show Anne's talent for connecting to what is unique about your child. Our photos are just amazing and I would recommend Anja photography to anyone without hesitation.
