Thanks for stopping by! My name is Lisa Connaughton, and I am entering my 15th year as a photographer. I still love this business as much as I did in the beginning. Maybe more. Over the years I have had the privilege to capture so many memories for my amazing clients. I have seen babies turn into toddlers, children and then teens.
I work on location, in home or at a location that we mutually agree upon. I specialize in maternity, newborn, fresh 48 (in hospital) children and families. Other types of sessions I offer include high school senior, head shots, corporate, business branding and small events. I do not offer pet photography, but pets are welcome in your family session for a few poses.
Acton Massachusetts Maternity Portrait Session -. Pregnancy portraits are a wonderful gift to give not only your self, but your children. Captures by Lisa offers maternity sessions in studio and on location, and focuses on capturing the beauty and fun of this very special time. Maternity photos are best done between 28-34 weeks into your pregnancy.
Captures by Lisa is all-inclusive. This means that all session prices include the session time and all final digital images from your session, plus printing rights so you can print to your heart's content. Digital images are available as a download directly to your personal computer through the final image gallery.

We visited Lisa's studio for her petite newborn package. I highly recommend Lisa for both her skilled photography and adeptness at handling newborns. The petite newborn package was perfect as it included the digital images, something most photographers do not include. I was initially nervous for the session, as our newborn is essentially happy only when being held, and I was not sure how he would handle being put down and posed. Lisa reassured me that the session would not be the stressor that I imagined and that she follows newborns leads.
She was entirely correct, and the session went smoothly, thanks to Lisa's incredible ability to soothe (sometimes fussy) newborns. I really cannot underscore enough how amazing Lisa is with newborns! Another reviewer called Lisa a baby whisperer and she absolutely is! And the photos are exactly what we had hoped for. Lisa is my absolute favorite photographer. Before my son was born I extensively looked for a newborn photographer and stumbled across Lisa and could not be happier. Her prices are reasonable, her demeanor is always on point and she treats every client as if they are her most important. After loving our newborn photos we regularly saw Lisa throughout my sons first year and have beautiful photos of him reaching so many milestones.
One of my most favorite things about Lisa is her yearly Santa Sessions, forget the mall, your child gets to spend special one on one time with Santa to capture truly fantastic photos. Even now at 3 1/2 my son remembers and LOVES Lisa, every time I tell him we're going to see Miss Lisa it perks him right up. I couldn't recommend her any more

Lisa has taken my families photographs for 10 years and I have loved ever photo. Lisa's skill and professionalism makes her a pleasure to work with. I am always amazed at how well she captures my families personalities in every picture.
