I have always enjoyed the creative arts; from graphic design to upholstery, and even restoring and adding on to my studio. My love of photography came to me through a required class while studying in the graphic arts field. I found myself totally fascinated in the darkroom, spending hours and hours enjoying the photographic process.

When you just can't get together at the same time, we can photograph you in individual families and assemble you together, as well as have the individual family group portraits. For those of you who are more adventurous or have your own special place, we can travel to any location to get the perfect family portrait for you. Clothing should be plain and simple-no patterns, stripes, bold designs or anything that distracts from your face. Classical styles that stay in fashion year after year are recommended. Trendy clothing will tend to outdate your portrait, however, if a more trendy look is your desire, we can accommodate you.

It was such a positive experience having Scott Hancock Photography do our family photo. He was extremely accommodating, he handled our large group very well (36)l, and was so flexible with photography options. He and his wife's ability to photoshop and arrange groupings were also impressive. They really went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied with our final products. I recommend them whole-heartedly.

This may be biased considering I am related to the owner, but I have only ever heard praise for the work of Scott Hancock Photography. Everything I have had done here has been high quality. Definitely a better choice than "the relative who bought a nice camera". There is definitely something great to be said about the years of experience and professionalism.

Cannot recommend Scott Hancock enough! Wonderful! We first hired Scott in 1995 to do our engagement photos. We were so thrilled with the photos, we asked him to be our photographer at our wedding. Even though we have moved away from the state, when it's time for family portraits, we would always come back to Scott Hancock. He has done over 15 family portraits for us!
He's great with kids, big groups, special requests. He's open to new ideas. Scott listens and incorporates what we'd like from our photos. we've seen different photo ideas (pinterest, etc) and when we bring them to Scott, he makes it a reality. You won't regret choosing Scott. He truly is a professional!

I HIGHLY recommend Scott! Over the years he has taken family, senior photos, missionary photos and engagements for us. Most recently he took my daughter's bridals and they are BEAUTIFUL! I cannot wait for the wedding photos. You will literally love all the pictures he takes so much that you simply cannot pick one favorite. They are all amazing! I love that he thoroughly thinks about the shots he is setting up.
Everything from posing the subjects, making sure they look perfect to lighting and background. He thinks of everything! He has a great sense of humor and can get a great smile out of anyone.
