Q: Will the photo I receive have similar quality to the one I see in the proof on the screen?. Digital products will be sent to the email that you provide during checkout within 24-48 hours. Printed picture orders are sent through the United States Postal Service (USPS) and should arrive within 7-10 business days.

Ordered my graduations photos, nothing too bad or good to say about the quality of the photos themselves, however the godawful pricing of this company is why I decided to write this review, I received 6 pictures in total, 4 of myself (two of which are just a zoom and a black and white version that anyone could make in seconds) and all that costed $140, 140 dollars for essentially two pictures of myself. I recommend anyone do some looking around before choosing island photography.

I tried to give Island Photography the benefit of the doubt. My son's graduation pictures were taken May 2022. I received the proofs and I was interested in ordering a package, however, based on the consistent negative reviews, I was very hesitant and so I called to speak with someone to see if there was anyway I could receive a sample of printed photos so that I could review the quality of the photos before ordering.
I was told that there are no samples available, which seems very odd for a photography studio selling photos. I mentioned the negative reviews that are posted on line and it didn't seem to matter. There was no concern on the part of the person I spoke to and no interest in trying to mitigate the negative reviews in order to obtain a sale. It is unfortunate that the reputation of this business is of no concern to the business owners.
Given the consistent negative reviews, I would think there would be more of an effort to address customers needs and concerns. While what I would have purchased would have been one package, multiply that by the hundreds of people who do not order for the same reason. HUGE LOSS but it does not seem to matter. Very unfortunate!

The worst photos of myself in existence! 0 stars if possible! My school used their services for my graduation, and I'm not kidding when I say I cried for at least 45 minutes when I saw the photos. I know it sounds dramatic, but one of the most important days of my life was arguably ruined, so I decided to write this review. Not only am I standing an extreme angle in the photo where I look like a literal '/' (something that could be easily fixed if they took any time in an iphone photography app- but also why would any professional photographer do that?) my hair is nearly invisible because the photo was so dark (also easily fixable with a phone app!).
My face looks like a floating egg because of the misfortune of having dark colored hair and a photography service that fails to exercise even basic judgment. This company will do absolutely no favors for you in terms of editing or common sense adjustments and then will proceed to scam your parents out of 200 dollars for extremely blurry, unprofessional photos. You're better off hiring a teenager with an iphone 13

I ordered my sons graduation photos on their mobile site. I did not see option for re- touching and thought it was included. No retouching was done. Called them and they said "yeah the mobile site is not that good and I should of ordered them on computer " ugh well I then re-ordered whole package with added fee for re touching. She said give them a week- I gave them 10days no email saying it was shipped etc. called them she said they were done just not sent she would make sure they were mailed out.she would re-send. Waited another week and still no pictures. Called them again and she said she will re-send. Now waiting again, no email confirmation that they were done and will be mailed. I guess I will have to call them again next week. Ridiculous!

My college used the company for our senior photos. Compared to other reviews, I had a great staff help me. The preview of my photos looked great when I was ordering them. However, I was INCREDIBLY disappointed when they were delivered. The photo was blurred out so much I thought my glasses were dirty. The image quality was poor, not clear, and not sharp. The price I had to pay for this, coast more than my high school grad pics (and they were good quality)!

They were hired to do our child's school photos. The only reason they've gotten 2-Stars is because the photographer(s) was very sweet to the kids. Unfortunately, they know absolutely nothing about framing a shot, using manual focus or working with the child. Pictures came out awful and we were told we need to bring our child in for a reshoot if we're not satisfied. Ha!
Whole school can't be responsible to get reshoots. As a "professional" photography studio, it's your position to do the best you can to get it correct the first time. They're children, I get it. But, it's the talk of the school between parents how disappointed we've all been in the quality. Not good.

I am very disappointed with this company. They took photos at my son's high school graduation and digitally sent me a photo that I expressed to the young girl taking the order, that I did not like. I became ill, so I was unable to download the photos until today, and to my surprise I was charged $49.95 for the image that I hated of myself. I only received 3 image downloads, and I was charged $129.90, which I just found out that I should have been charged $119.00.
The workers are not trained, and do not take direction well over the phone, regarding orders. I am not out of $49.95 for a photo that I will never download, nor use! Someone named Kim just offered to reimburse me a partial, $10.90. Unacceptable! I will be contacting corporate and anyone else to complain about this! She was unhelpful, with a condensing attitude!
