Decroce Photography

You've waited a while to save up for professional family pics. You call Edward and within 1-2 hrs you have enough shots to make your head explode. You look at the proofs. Your head does explode. You spend two weeks trying to narrow down which ones to get because there's So. Many. Fabulous. Shots. Even for your sulky teenage boy. Miracles do happen in 2021.

He picks up candids that make your 16 year old daughter like a supermodel. You take the pics, compile into one of those handmade books they sell off the internet for gifts. And the grandparents go crazy and your sibs are jealous because now you're the favorite kid. Moral of the story: you get what you pay for: Eye, experience. Professionalism. I mean that one bush/tree in your yard looks like you're in The botanic gardens. how does that happen?

Just know going in, your neighbors/friends/cousins side business this is not. You're in the big leagues now. (As an aside, Edward is such a Pleasure to work with. He could be some snobby Prima Donna artiste. Nope Instead you get super normal denver-native dad-guy who takes his business seriously. Refreshing.)

I feel so incredibly lucky to have had Edward DeCroce take my 18 year old, Fin's, senior portrait. And now, I want a photo shoot for Fin's sister and one for me, for no reason other than we had so much fun and the end results are truly stunning! He normally does commercial shoots, but takes a few senior photos each year, and I was a little nervous about how he'd be with a teenager.

That feeling was gone in about 30 seconds. Edward is incredibly personable, and made Fin feel so confidant and comfortable in front of the camera, literally within minutes of meeting. We then spent several hours wandering all over downtown Denver, stopping to take pics on the mall, with a kitten, on a bike, in an alley, and wherever else caught his photographer's eye. Edward has a unique ability to connect with people of all ages, and he made it so natural and fun, capturing so many different expressions and moods. Hours went by and neither Fin or I, wanted it to end.

It was the most fun we'd had since before the pandemic! And then, we saw the pictures. I know my kid is great looking, but I've never seen their beauty captured like this before. Because Edward is able to connect with his subjects, the images he captures are natural and real, showing the subject's very essence. To anyone who needs a photographer, I highly encourage you to reach out to Edward. If you're lucky enough to hire him for a photo shoot once, I promise you too will be trying to come up with a good excuse for another one!

Edward DeCroce is an extraordinary photographer-both for what he is able to elicit from his subjects and for what he is then able to capture on film. I was fortunate to know Edward's father who did my teenage portrait and his late sister who photographed my wedding, so dealing with the DeCroce family has been sort of a tradition. That said, my many years now of working with Edward have been absolutely delightful.

We have depended on him to help chronicle our organization's people, events and growth, and I have a boss who maintains that he never felt comfortable being photographed until he met Edward. I feel much the same way!

I recently booked Ed for a commercial photography session as I needed updated headshots for a job search. Ed was fantastic. He really put me at ease and found the best locations for us to take pictures at in Denver. I could not be more happy with the way he captured my authentic self. Ed is friendly, approachable, highly skilled, creative, smart and went above and beyond for our group. In front of my eyes, I saw a group that went from being hesitant in front of "a camera" to being completely comfortable and welcomed and seen for who they really are-- beautiful people who shine through Ed's lenses. I myself don't really like getting my photos taken because I have had the wrong photographers! Ones who expect you to be immediately comfortable when they are just there to get paid or they say goofy things to "put you at ease", all which results in a "posed" or "nervous" look. Ed's style is extremely unique.

He's very comfortable and comforting to be around. He puts you at ease. He makes you laugh just by what he says or gives you pointers to bring out your best. Also, I have to say that was extremely flexible with some last-minute changes that I threw his way, and I appreciate his accommodating our group so much! He's genuine and he's the one you want to choose iif you want to have photos showing the REAL/AUTHENTIC you! What else is there?

My family has had the pleasure of working with Edward DeCroce Photography, for my mothers seventy-fifth birthday. The entire family was there and Edward was amazing and engaging with each of us, making everyone feel comfortable. He was very patient and easy going, always willing to accommodate what we needed at that moment. He did a phenomenal job capturing moments within my family that we will treasure forever!

Edward is not only an amazingly talented photographer with an incredible eye, he is one of the kindest most professional people I know. I've been fortunate enough to say that I've been photographed by Edward over the years at various galas. I can tell you that he has the uncanny ability to find the perfect angles and composition in any situation.

Edwards photography is by far some of the best I have ever seen! He was our wedding photographer and produced the most amazing album for us - image after image is an individual work of art. His sense of composition is amazing and somehow he manages to capture the image essence of a moment beautifully.
