Most people would cringe at being called image-obsessed, but it means something else to New York-based photographer Ryan Brenizer. Ryan mixes technical expertise with award-winning composition skills, tenacity, and a joy for his work. His photographic career took off in 2000 when he won a statewide photojournalism award for coverage of President Clinton and the First Family.

I had the pleasure of meeting both Ryan and Tatiana several years ago while working on a television project surrounding wedding photographers. Although i was single at the time, i thought it was cool and so beneficial that I had this pre-screening process of meeting all the top wedding photographers in the Tri-state area. When I tell you I met them all, I met them all!
As soon as I saw Ryan and Tatiana's work, I had hoped that I would one day, get married too and be able to have them as my photography team. Fast forward to 2019. As soon as I got engaged, my husband (fiance at the time) and I knew the most important vendor would be our photographers and we would have to choose wisely. I told him about my experience with The Brenziers and we were booked with them pretty instantly for our February 2021 wedding.
We never thought that we would still be amidst the pandemic come February, 2021 but we were. One thing was for sure and that was that we would get married no matter what and keep our original day. It was so important to us and The Brenizers had our back from day 1. Never did we ever feel stressed or worried about what our "new day" would look like or how our photos would be handled.
Due to the pandemic, we also never went through with our engagement shoot as we had planned. All of our friends gasped in horror, "but how will you know if you photograph with them well if you don't have a practice run first!?". that was easy, we knew that The Brenizers didn't need a practice run and that we were in the absolute best of hands with them photographing out wedding.
Our faith in them and intuition couldn't have been more spot on. From the minute they arrived to the minute we wrapped, our day with them was filled with the utmost professionalism, confidence, and ease. Not once, did we ever question what was happening or what came next. Every picture taken was carefree, natural, fun and easy. We had the absolute best time taking portraits in our original wedding venue, that was so kind enough to let us shoot in the space even though we did not end up celebrating there on that day.
I had a vision in my mind from the moment I was engaged of what my photos would look like and The Brenizers delivered on every. single. shot. Every picture is more beautiful than the next. They captured our personalities and both our spirits in a way that I couldn't have ever dreamed of. If you're looking for wedding photographers that are anything but cookie cutter, with skills that are unmatched, Ryan and Tatiana are the absolute best decision you can make for your wedding day. We can not recommend them highly enough and are so grateful that we chose them to be a part of our special day. We look forward to many more shoots with them in the future!

I cannot recommend these photographers enough! The photos that they took for my daughters christening are mind blowing! They captured incredible moments and the quality of the photos/videos are just mind blowing amazing! They as people are amazing too. They played with the kids, they interacted and they were so patient. If you want like over the top amazing photos definitely go with them!

As a photographer my wife put me in charge of choosing the wedding photographer. I had been following different photographers over the years, so when I was given this opportunity there was no question it would be the Brenizers (just Ryan at that time). Our wedding was based in Boston and he was operating out of NYC, so we covered the costs of hotel and transportation which is customary in any photographer's travels.
As my wife and I are coming upon our 10 anniversary, we were contemplating flying Ryan and the family out to Hawaii to shoot a 10 anniversary picture because his skills and artistic creativity is just that good! As friends and family come out, they see our wedding pictures and they are in awe. I continue to be inspired by their work. I can safely say there have been 2 solid decisions I've made in my life. 1. Marrying my wife. 2. Choosing the Brenizers to capture the wedding to aforementioned wife.

THEY WERE THE BEST INVESTMENT WE MADE. Not only did they fly down to FL for our wedding, but they worked so hard on our wedding day. We never really noticed them throughout the day but they gave us so many amazing and heartfelt moments that bring me to tears each time I look at our wedding album and photos. My family and friends LOVE them. My Man of Honor has said many times since "No one has ever made me look so good" - when we got our slideshow before they released our sneak peeks my husband told Ryan, "That's it, we're good where we're at now, she's crying and can't stop gushing over them". GUYS, I just can't with the Brenizers, they are so good at what they do and care so deeply for our story and relationship.
When we hired them we knew they were good at storytelling, good at candids and created epic portraits, but nothing prepared us for the lifelong friendship, the emotional attachment we have to our photos and the constant compliments we get from everyone who sees our wedding photos. We both highly recommend the Brenizers, not just for weddings, but family sessions too! We will be clients for life.

Unfortunately, I am very sad to say that I cannot recommend Ryan Brenizer's photography services. Choosing him as my wedding photographer is the one regret I have about my wedding day. While our other vendors were wonderful and genuinely wanted to make our wedding day special, my family and I were extremely disappointed with the overall quality of the wedding photos we received.
In addition to arriving late on the day of the wedding, it took 10 weeks to receive our wedding photos after we were told it would take 6-8 weeks. This delayed sending out our thank you cards. Our family portraits were extremely poor in quality (bad/foggy lighting, family members obscured, background obstacles jutting into the frame behind family members), and our ceremony photos were also very poorly lit.
You only get married once, so please don't take a chance with your wedding day photos! Don't make the same mistake we did by choosing Ryan Brenizer as your wedding photographer.
