I started photography at age 13 and got my first all-manual interchangeable lens film camera (SLR) at age 16. Since then, I never stopped photographing my surroundings, documenting our travels, capturing the moments and making portraits of my 3 daughters.
For about 20 years, I worked at understanding and verbalizing what needs or problems customers and users were facing with some of the most used software around, and how to solve them... until I came across a body of research on the power a photo can have to change perceptions.
Researches and anecdotal evidences convinced me that a good portrait can make a positive lasting impact by boosting families bonds, increasing self-confidence, and strengthening memories. As a result, I decided I wanted to make a bigger positive and lasting impact even if it's on fewer people through photography! I become a professional photographer in 2012: I participated in numerous trainings, practiced a lot, and got my firsts paid customers.

Pierre's eyes obviously see things through the lens we can not. He is a talented artist who brings out the unique beauty in his subjects. His Kirkland studio is beautiful and has ample opportunity for a professional headshot or a cherished pet photo, and everything in between. He is a true Pro. His French accent just makes the experience all the better. Thanks Pierre.
