Roberto Farren is a Boston wedding photographer offering wedding photography in Boston and from the Cape up into Maine. Having grown up in London in the UK and shooting weddings there, he is now based here in this beautiful corner of the US. He is available for travel both within and outside of the USA so please inquire about booking your destination wedding photography coverage also.He photographed his first wedding in 2008 in London and has covered many in the UK and Europe since then. While he prefers the unobtrusive approach to shooting weddings and finding those hidden shots that can easily be missed on the big day, he also like to work together with you to get some great posed shots, with beautiful lighting that will really make you both stand out from the crowd. His editorial style of wedding photography takes in both a documentary and fashion style that will provide you with stunning memories from your very special day.
Your Boston or New England wedding will be personally covered by Roberto himself, as well as all the post production work, including image processing and album design. You will be able to keep in touch via e-mail or phone, both before and after your day, to make sure that the preparation and final shots are exactly as you planned. My husband and I were fortunate enough to book Roberto for our wedding and we couldn't be happier! Neither of us like having our picture taken so the thought of it had us both a bit nervous but Roberto put us at ease right away. He has an eye for detail and he got some incredible shots even though we were crunched for time. Not only is he a great photographer but he's just an all around great person that our wedding guests continue to rave about. Roberto went above and beyond in capturing every moment of our wedding.
How do you thank someone that captured all of the special moments and memories of your wedding day?! Roberto (and Erin!), thank you so much for all of your beautiful work! Roberto really went above and beyond. We hired Roberto to photograph to do some bride/groom shots and to cover our reception. The bride/groom shots he took in the Boston Common are simply breathtaking. We also loved the fact that Roberto was really passionate about doing whatever it took to get a great shot. It was rainny cloudy that day but he held off cancelling the outdoor photos until the very last minute.and what do you know, the clouds parted for one hour before sunset and we got perfect lighting.
His pictures beautifully capture that lighting. In addition, Roberto had no qualms with literally lying on the (cold and wet!) ground to get a good picture. The vibrancy of his reception photos perfectly capture the mood of the day. On top of all that, he posted our pictures so quickly after our event. We highly recommend Roberto!

My husband and I hired Roberto to shoot our July Harvard Square wedding, and we were thrilled with his work from beginning to end! First, he was incredibly professional in our meetings leading up to the big day: he was always prompt, prepared, and full of great ideas and enthusiasm! We immediately knew we were in good hands. On the big day, we asked Roberto not only to orchestrate and produce good headshots, but also requested he spend much of his time focusing on candids throughout the night, as we wanted to capture the spirit of the evening (as well as pictures of all of our guests). Well, he certainly delivered!
Not only are our pictures incredibly sharp, but when you flip through them you definitely feel like you are reliving the event! Roberto was everywhere snapping pictures, but if you ask any of our guests, it was like he was never there. On top of all of this, our photos were sent to us in record time! Roberto is amazing! I don't think I had taken professional pictures since I was a senior in high school so when my fiance and I booked Roberto for our engagement photos, I was a little anxious to say the least. Within 5 minutes he had us feeling totally comfortable and we ended up having a ton of fun. Not only is he a nice guy and very professional, but the quality of his photos is truly outstanding (all you need to do is look at his website for evidence of that). We loved our engagement photos and got so many compliments on them. I really can't recommend Roberto enough!

Bob did an amazing job with our engagement and wedding photos! He is so easy to work with and goes out of his way to meet with his couples and answer questions so that he gets to know who you are and what you are looking for in all of your pictures. We had a small wedding of about 30 people and looking back, I cannot even remember Bob being in the room.
He was able to get up close and intimate photos without his presence being obvious. His wife acted as his "assistant" during the wedding and for the engagement photo shoot and was also lovely to meet and have around. My husband and I highly recommend Bob as a photographer for any wedding or major event.
