Before the age of 11, I truly wanted to be a Veterinarian when I grew up. Then I remember my Mother telling me that Vet's have to see blood and animal insides on a daily basis. I wasn't having any part of that. Luckily at that time, the internet started to develop and I found myself falling madly in love with graphic and web design. I was pretty sure I was going to be a expert designer when I grew up. By the time I hit 14, I was well on my way to that occupation. I had won a few awards and had been featured in newspapers and design program newsletters. At 15, I started scoring press and photo passes to the concerts of my favorite bands through these design jobs. I had no fast interest in the photo passes I just liked the idea of getting into shows I probably wouldn't have otherwise gone to. Having spent a bit of time as a photographer, my Mother happily used the photos passes. When I saw how much fun she was having and the great photos that she was taking, my interests took a sharp turn and I spent most of ages 18-23 in the PITs of local places.Although I still occasionally shoot music, these days I dedicate most of my time to wedding and portrait work and I couldn't be happier. There is no better feeling in the world than documenting the best days of a persons life and I know how truly lucky I am to be able to make a living doing what I love most!
My name is Veronica and I credit my history as a concert photographer with my true love of documentary photography. I love traveling to beautiful places, laughing as often as possible and biking on vintage cruisers. I have a teeny obsession with dogs and elephants and a very serious addiction to Vitamin Water Spark. I've met some amazing people in my life and I'd love to meet many more so let's talk!

There will be a magnetism in the subtle moments of your wedding day that often blur without notice. As an artistic documentary wedding photographer, my role is to capture those moments unaware; leaving you with a visual story of joy and love to illustrate the backdrop of your new life together. Before your wedding day, I'll be there when you need me.
As a wedding photographer, my role is a special one. I'm being invited to capture two people on one of the most romantic, joyous days of their lives, and the experience is often just as emotional for me as it is for the couple. There's something truly amazing, a really unique energy, that happens in wedding photography and I am so happy to be doing this as my life's art and work. My work is artistic and documentary in style so couples can live in the moment with one another and be photographed as they really are.

I don't know where to start, so I'll start with Veronica as a person because her humanity even more than her incredible photography struck me most. She is just a beautiful human being, who was hands down the best part of wedding planning. The amount of time, care, support, and comfort she devoted to us was truly beyond. I felt her genuine kindness in each and every email.
From assisting us with our contract, to helping us choose the most beautiful engagement photo location, to offering guidance on our wedding day timeline, first look, and even some wedding decor (pipe and drape) when that 100% was not her job at all. Veronica's expertise and willingness to lend a hand was the greatest reassurance that everything for our wedding would turn out not just okay, but wonderfully.
I would venture to guess that she gives the same amount of loving kindness and support to each and every couple she works with. Onto her photographs - to quote my mother, they are "spellbinding - each one more stunning." Three months later, I cannot stop admiring our photos. Veronica's work captures the energy of our wedding day and the love that filled the room so well.
She is a master at finding the best light, the best angles, the best smiles and little moments. She will make you feel relaxed and natural in front of the camera even if you are camera shy. Now that our wedding is over, I honestly miss her. We will cherish our time working with Veronica and our breathtaking photos forever and ever.

Out of all the photographers I had inquired about Veronica was the only one who responded with enthusiasm and went into detail immediately. Her professionalism and communication is outstanding. Looking at her photographs, they feel like art not people posing. She catches real moments. We bonded over our love for our dogs. The day of the wedding she made us, as a couple, and our entire crazy family feel so comfortable. I will cherish the photos she took of our day forever. Veronica is an incredible photographer and I would highly recommend her! We initially chose her because we loved her bright and relaxed style. Veronica was amazing to work with and was very communicative during the planning process. She made everything so easy for us when planning and on the day of our wedding. Our photos are gorgeous and truly show the progression of the day. Family and friends who were not able to attend the wedding felt that the photos truly gave them a sense of what it was like to be there. I cannot recommend Veronica enough!

If you're considering hiring a photographer for your wedding, please read this! Hiring Veronica Varos was hands down the best decision that we made for our wedding day. My husband does photography as a hobby and is very particular about style and technique, so I thought he would have a hard time being in love with any photographer. However, as soon as we saw her natural, bright and unposed style, we knew that we had to have her capture our day.
I think that the photos speak for themselves, but what you can't see is probably most important - amazing customer service. From the time that I inquired about her availability all the way to delivering pictures, Veronica was very responsive and thorough. I've always felt welcome to ask questions, re-arrange the timeline, add extra time and so on.
We conversed and processed all paperwork/payments online which is 100% my preferred method of communications (hi, millenial here). On the wedding day, having Veronica and her assistant there really helped me relax and enjoy the wedding instead of fretting about the timeline. She worked so well with the other vendors and my friends and family loved her too :) When my bustle broke, she even teamed up with my coordinator to fix it quickly and get me back to the party. If you got this far into this review, please take this away - a great photographer that you can trust is always worth the investment, and that's what Veronica is.

Veronica was the first vendor we hired for our wedding, and one of the absolute, standout, allstar picks. The moment we met with Veronica I knew she was the one - she has this quiet confidence about her, and I was immediately drawn to her photography style and her ability to capture candids, which was really important to me. I am obsessed with our photos. Turns out the day of our wedding Veronica got sick, and I had no idea!
Literally no clue that she was super sick until the next day. Our photos are stunning, and her professionalism is above and beyond. My daughter had a fall wedding overlooking the mountains of West Virginia. It was a beautiful, sunny day filled with so many happy moments and I knew everyone would have many wonderful memories. I saw so much joy and happiness in my daughter that day. We were fortunate to find Veronica Varos and have her with us on that special day. Veronica captured the joy I saw that day in the photographs she took.

Veronica somehow turned the ordinary events of our wedding into something more, something magical. Veronica's body of work evidences her talent, but it wasn't until after receiving our own pictures that we truly appreciated Veronica's ability to capture special moments-moments we missed.
