Cindy is an amazing photographer with a great eye! She has done a family session for me and now my high school senior. Captured the natural beauty of my daughter with poses, settings that my daughter wanted and was comfortable with. Had great suggestions and ideas while letting my daughter guide her session. Cindy is an amazing photographer. I knew I wanted her to take my engagement/wedding pictures before I ever met my husband. She took my High school senior photos in 2011 and then my engagement photos in 2017. My husband and I have drastically different skin tones, and it's hard to find a photographer that can take a picture that we both look great in.
I had confidence that Cindy wouldn't have any issues with photographing an interracial couple, and I was right. Not only are her photos natural and beautiful, she's so much fun. She knows how to make you laugh. She knows how to make you pose. She captures the little candid moments throughout the session. I would recommend Cindy to anyone and everyone who needs a photographer. Truly, the best of the best.

Cindy Shaver did an amazing job with our wedding photos! Not only is she a great photographer, but she is so much fun to work with! We had the best time with her and she kept everyone laughing. She took the time to make sure that she got the perfect shot! We were able to take pictures at our venue and around the courthouse/square in Athens, AL. When I mentioned that our reception was downtown and that I wanted some pictures around the square, Cindy never skipped a beat. Cindy was easy to communicate with and super cooperative. I'm so glad that she was able to capture this important day! We definitely recommend her and will be using her again!

She has done a newborn shoot for us and she also took wonderful senior portraits of my daughter. Every experience, as varied as all these are, was simply delightful. Cindy Shaver did an excellent job on my wedding pictures! That day meant the world to me and my family and she captured the day beautifully! We had a humble wedding inside of my parents home and she made it look like we had a huge wedding at an expensive venue. I had people asking where we got married so that they could book it! Cindy did an amazing job on both our engagement and our wedding pictures! She is professional, knowledgable, and is not afraid of getting down on the ground in the mud if it means getting the perfect shot! Our pictures came back very soon after our wedding, and she even put together a slide show of pictures set to music for us. I would highly recommend Cindy to anyone looking for a photographer!

Cindy has been our photographer for many family moments! From my son's senior portraits to recently, the wedding of our daughter. Cindy is talented when it comes to capturing those special moments, the looks of her clients that when I saw them--I said to myself, "that's my Justin" or "that's Jessica to me"! Went in a week ago for a business photo. I got there, and she immediately noticed that I needed to wait for my transitions lenses to clear up. So we chatted for a short while, then she snapped a few photos, I paid her (reasonable rate), and got the photos very shortly after (I think it was that night.) Cindy was quite friendly and got me great photos, taking only a short time. Five stars.

On very short notice, Cindy dropped everything to help our family commemorate our beloved PawPaw, a decorated WWII Veteran. Though she said she'd never photographed a funeral before, Cindy somehow managed to position herself in the right places to capture the most beautiful details and moments of both the church and graveside services, such as the Patriot Guard's salutes and the presenting of the folded flag to his daughter.
These were moments in which we were so engrossed that we did not think to photograph ourselves, but afterward wished we had captured. Cindy got them all, and she worked so professionally and intentionally that we almost didn't see her. We wept afresh when reviewing the amazing images she captured.
