We hired David for our wedding in October of 2020, he was communicative, kind, and very professional. He always responded to my questions in a timely manner and helped me with forming the best timeline based on the light that would be available that day. Due to a medical event he was unable to actually be at my wedding but he let me know immediately and secured a backup that he works with often and shoots very similar to him for me so I did not have to panic.
He did the editing of the photos so I still got that style I loved. He made what could have been a very stressful situation go smoothly and calmly and always kept in contact so I knew what was going on. I loved working with him and would 100% recommend him.

Professional, personable, creative, talented, and reasonably priced. I cannot say enough good things about them. I just received a lot of the photos back from my husband and I's wedding and they are spectacular! I am seriously the most non-photogenic person ever and they captured all the right light, veiws, and angles that make me feel and look so beautiful! David and Sarah are the best! We absolutely love our wedding photos! We were scared to hire a photographer because photos were the most important thing to us. David made us feel comfortable. He met with us to go over his work/style and answered all of our questions. He is very professional and his pricing is reasonable. The quality of his work is breathtaking and we honestly couldn't have picked a better photographer. Sarah was on top of everything during our wedding and was very detailed oriented. We absolutely loved working with David! His pictures were amazing, and the exact style we wanted. He and his wife were extremely friendly, helpful, fun, and a perfect addition to our wedding. I really appreciated their attention to detail, ability to put up with my crazy family dynamics, and ability to flow well with the entire event. Not only are the pictures exactly what we wanted but they were so easy to work with it made it feel like we were working with close friends, rather just another vendor. I would highly recommend David's services to any couple. We worked with him for our engagement pictures and wedding, and I can honestly say it was worth every penny!!

One reason I want to get married one day. So David and Sarah can be my photographers. They are amazing. I have known Sarah for over a year and she will bend over backwards for anyone she works with. Her husband is ultra talented. Their photographs are fantastic and they make you feel like you know every couple that they post photos of. These are not your ordinary photographers. They are more of a part of your family. Just read the comments on the photos they post online. One happy customer after another. And I will be too one day!

Not only are they amazing photographers, they are wonderful people who showed up early, stayed late, and put up with my 5 month pregnant, emotional, crazy bride behavior with a smile on their face. David and Sarah took our wedding photos and they (the Colemans and their images) were amazing! Our guests were very pleased with their props and attitude with the photobooth set up they provided. They truly had a great time! We had our photos in half the time of any other photographer and they even sent me a photo early so I could send out our Thank Yous! They communicate very well and make sure they have everything taken care of before they leave. We were super sad when they moved to CO!

This talented couple have captured many family memories for me from senior pictures, wedding, returning deployed soldier to grandkids Christmas pictures. My husband and I were planning to vacation out in Colorado Springs and decided it would be the perfect location to get some updated photos taken. We reached out to David and while we were still home in MN he helped us organize all the details. He chose amazing locations and took some stunning photos. We had so much fun seeing the sites and hanging out with him in the meantime. He made it such a fun experience. We love having these beautiful memories from our trip to Colorado!

We tried to be budget friendly when picking our vendors. One piece of advice my husband and I received when planning our wedding was to book the photographer we wanted (this also meant to splurge a little). The second I opened the D Coleman Photography website I fell in love with their style. I had already emailed a few photographers already, and I must say that they truly never made me feel pressured to book them.
Others were so pushy which just stressed me out. I had one demand a yes or no response within two hours or they would move on. I understand that you could lose business because of a delayed response, but it was just so aggressive. Every communication with David and Sarah was comforting. Before the ceremony on our wedding day I was so thankful for Sarah.
She helped make sure that everything was in order right until I walked down the aisle. As for the photographs themselves we were truly impressed. We received all of the photographs and the rights to them, but we were truly astounded by the number of photographs we received. We were a little doubtful, because we had an outdoor venue and there was a typical Colorado monsoon equipped with sideways blowing rain immediately following the ceremony.
This was not exactly conducive to their work, but they were great with our limited window of time. They were so flexible and worked well with all of our other vendors with the change in our schedule. 100% worth it!

If I could rate them with 10 stars I would! David and Sarah were absolutely amazing for the photographer at our wedding. They were down to earth, fun, and positive. They knew what they were doing and kept track of all of my Pinterest pictures that I wanted. They took so much stress off of me by being prepared and capturing our most precious moments.
They were able to get everyone to smile, even grumpy toddlers and non smiley adults. They lighten the mood and really made everybody truly laugh so we didn't get any of those fake smiles. They were so helpful in the whole day and would be willing to take whatever picture you wanted. Sarah even taught my husband how to dip me without flashing the world.
Overall they were one of the best things in this whole experience, other than actually getting married and seeing all our loved ones. I would use David and Sarah over and over again. I will not be getting married again but I am sure down the road I will want updated couple pictures! Thank you David and Sarah you were unbelievable!

David Coleman Photography is a company with extremely personable (and hilarious) employees (in our case David and his Wife, Sarah). Their photos are modern, edgy, beautiful and capture everything I would imagine a qualified, passionate, and true artist having as a photographer. Additionally, I want to mention that I gave them a laundry list of photos to take and due to the ceremony location we only had one-hour to do them.
I am a very high strung, type AAA (if that is a thing) type of bride and I cannot describe the frustration I had with my family and friends who were all over the place and not cooperating to complete the list in the required timeframe, but Sarah really stepped up and took charge and was my saving grace from completely stressing out and blowing my cool with my family. David and Sarah were punctual, captured all the shots I wanted and then some, they soothed my tension, made me laugh, and were clearly seasoned professionals-- they just new all the tricks to capture the best photo(s) possible.
