Desjar Photography, pronounced (day-jhar), was founded in 2010 by head photographer and Hallmark Institute of Photography Graduate, Melissa Desjardins. With years of professional photography experience in weddings, portrait, and commercial work, Melissa brings not only a successful academic photography background but also an acquired skill set and knowledge base through her years of experience out in the field.

We were lucky to have Desjar shoot our 18 month old daughter and 3 year old Boxer this past winter. They did a great job with the baby, she likes music, so they played music while they were photographing her. They interacted with her throughout the whole shoot & she was very comfortable and the pictures prove it! Our dog was a little less cooperative, but they still managed to keep her attention and get some great photo's!
We enjoyed the experience and the pictures will forever remind us of this time in our lives. I recommend Desjar Photography, not only are they professional, they have an artistic eye that you won't get any where else.

Melissa and Desjar Photography as a whole did an amazing job at our wedding. They were extremely professional, made us feel comfortable being around them, and I couldnt have asked for better pictures. The package we chose gave us 2 photographers, and they did such a good job capturing evevry little moment throughout our wedding and reception that not a single memory was missed and they did it in a way where we barely even knew they were there.
They just fit right in like they were friends of ours and snapped away unsuspectingly. I love the fact that we were given our own personal website with our package so friends of ours attending the wedding could log in and sign our guestbook and leave us their wishes which we were able to print out and will be able to look back on years from now. The wedding album we recived too, was so beautiful!
I have never seen a wedding album as nice as the one I received from Desjar. Overall, I couldnt have been more satisfied with my experience with them and would DEFINITELY reccommend Desjar Photography to any bride or groom looking for a wedding photographer.
