My name is Katy and I am the owner/photographer at KS Photography. I specialize in maternity, newborn and children’s portraiture. I also offer families, high school senior and the occasional wedding. I have been photographing professionally for 15 years. Having photographed hundred of babies, children, families, pregnant mommy's and over 90 weddings. I have a home studio located in Albany, Oregon and often shoot on location making use of our beautiful Western Oregon landscape. My goal with every session is to capture real smiles, show true emotion through my images and document your families story for you to treasure for years to come. We are grandparents and had pictures taken of the grandbaby, along with her mom (our daughter) and ourselves in various groupings with the baby. Katy (photographer) was amazing! The pictures turned out to be everything we wanted, and more. She was so good at handling the baby and getting her in the cutest poses, and also with grouping us into some great poses.
The baby was born in Oct, and Katy had props that indicated it was fall, and that were really cute. I’m looking forward to using Katy again as the baby gets older and we want pictures of her at a year old, etc.

Katy did our newborn photos and was great! She was so sweet and patient with our 10-day old and knew all the tricks to capture the perfect photos. She came to our house and brought everything needed for the shoot, which made it super easy and convenient for us. I highly recommend KS Photography! Thank you, Katy!!!

As new, sleep-deprived parents, we weren't exactly on our game when picture day arrived. Katy had it together, though! She was able to basically set up a studio in our apartment, she knew how to help our daughter fall asleep for those adorable sleeping pictures, and she was professional, timely, and kind throughout the whole process. We love our photos and would definitely recommend her!

Katy has been our go to photographer for senior photos and our family photos. She is so sweet and easy to work with but what I most appreciate is her talent. She's got an eye for details (hair, posture, background), knows how to get the best lighting and is always looking for that creative, personal element in the photo. The hardest part is selecting just a few to put on the wall. They are all good!
