We contacted Nicole 6 weeks before our trip to Maui to contract her for a photo session. She was prompt, professional and so helpful. We kept in contact via email before our trip and 24 hrs before our session, she confirmed our appointment. We met her at a beautiful semi private beach and she got busy taking many wonderful photos of us. We are so happy with our photos and our experience working with Behind the lens, Maui!

Nicole of Behind the Lense Maui was great! She captured beautiful photos of our multi-generation family that we will forever treasure. She was warm, friendly, and worked to accommodate the needs of all members of our family. She was also extremely flexible when she arrived at our agreed upon location and I wasn't there! I could not rave enough about Nicole at BTLM she is incredible to work with! Having answered all of my questions regarding the best beaches to get married on while analyzing my group of people and everything else was amazing. Once she got us to the venue after getting a bit turned around, she put our nerves at rest and got right to directing us where we needed to be and how we could get the best shots.

Nicole was amazing to work with. We appreciated her direction and vision for the shots, as taking engagement photos and posing isn't necessarily natural for us. She gave us flexibility in choosing the background, to make sure the atmosphere reflected us as a couple. The pictures turned out beautifully and we can't wait to use them for our wedding!

Nicole was great! She did an awesome job meeting our requests and making time for the different ideas we had for our wedding beach photo shoot. I truly love the moments she captured and would definitely recommend her! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I would have appreciated a little more direction in certain poses. There were some pictures I looked hunched over or had a weird stance and I would have loved for her to tell me a little adjustment to do.

I am not the best at getting my picture taken so I probably should have asked for her to be a little more direct at correcting something I was doing that looked funny. Overall it was a great experience and I'm really glad we invested in these high quality photos.

We worked with Nicole for the third time this past summer, and to no surprise, she's still amazing. She shot our wedding on Maui almost 8 years ago, and the two times we've come back since with our little girls. We couldn't be happier with her quality of work and the price point. Can't recommend her enough!

Nicole took some of the most beautiful pics of us on our honeymoon. We are both a little camera shy but felt very comfortable with Nicole. She also captured some candid pictures that are nothing short of spectacular. Her communication after was very prompt and the photos were made available in a short time. Nicole, and her team at Behind The Lens Maui, are the best team you could imagine working with for a special event. My wife and I had Nicole assist us for our wedding in early May 2019. Nicole's service and work is nothing short of amazing. Her insight and suggestions throughout the process were invaluable, while her hard work showed in the final images we received. Nicole was great! So nice to work with. Unfortunately, we got lost for an hour and she was so understanding. She even gave us suggestions on places we could venture off to. During the pictures, she allowed us to give input and she was just sooo nice! I would recommend her to friends and family!

I can't sing BTLM's praise enough! Choosing vendors from the mainland can be sketch especially without a wedding coordinator, but after my first email I felt the good vibes. From the initial consultation through our final call, the process was smooth and not overly time consuming. Day of ceremony Nicole showed up early and stayed late to make sure everything was perfect.

She helped calm down the bride, herded cats for the group shot, and gave great tips to get the most out of our sunset shots. The photos were delivered via zip drive through email two weeks later. yes I said two weeks later and they were breath taking! Just as important as the final product and customer service components, the price was right compared to other vendors without sacrificing an ounce of quality.

Absolute professionals and very talented. We did a family shoot with Nicole on a south shore beach. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed. nothing felt forced and our photos were fabulous because of it. You will feel very familiar with Nicole and her team right away. Nicole did a wonderful job for our wedding. It was a pleasant and seamless experience from the beginning. She was prompt to return my emails and we had locked in a date with ease. She was easy to work with and the pictures came out great! We loved them all! Highly reccomend her for any photo event!

Nicole was nice and very easy to work with until I received the photos. I was not happy with many of them. It started to rain and was humid so there were frizzy fly away hair and sweat stains on my husband's shirt and she was unable to photoshop so many of the pictures were throw aways.

I had my wedding ceremony on Makena surf beach in May 2015. The location was perfect and the photos were amazing. Sue was my photographer and she made us feel comfortable the whole time. It was a fun process. Nicole handled our images afterward and was friendly and very speedy. We had our purchased images promptly as promised. Best of all since it was an elopement I had friends and family say that the pictures made them feel as though they were there! I highly recommend using Nicole and team for any photo needs!
