Howard Frisk Photography

I am a freelance photographer serving the Seattle - Tacoma area. For over twenty years I have been providing my clients with original and creative photographs. I strive to bring out the aesthetic qualities of all my subjects. My task as a photographer is to find the natural beauty that exists within my subjects, and transform that beauty into pleasing imagery.

Howard Frisk is a Seattle area freelance photographer and a native of the Great Pacific Northwest. He has been providing commercial photography and portrait photography services for over twenty years. Howard's travel photographs have been published in the Seattle Official Visitors Guide, Seattle Day by Day, Washington State Visitor's Guide, Scenic Washington, Washington State Wine Official Tour Guide and numerous books, calendars and web sites. Two of Howard's photographs were accepted for display in the Harvest - The Bounty of Washington photography exhibition.

Commercial photography includes any type of photograph that can be used to advertise or promote a business, product, or service. We have experience with food and product photography, architectural photography, and have done photo shoots in art galleries, museums, retail stores, restaurants, hotels, historical buildings and wineries.

Washington State has many unique travel destinations. Our travel photographs have been published in regional and Washington State travel guides frequently through out the years. Washington State has everything - wide sandy ocean beaches, deep river gorges, rolling wheat fields in the Palouse region and now countless vineyards and wineries.

The Editor of the local newspaper Northwest Prime Time contacted Howard after seeing his recent book, The Seven Wonders of Washington State, and asked him to write an article about the state's seven wonders. The newspaper is available in all King County Fred Meyer stores as well as local libraries and visitor centers for a limited time.

My favorite photographic moment was during a shoot in the Sky City restaurant up in the Space Needle for Frommer's Seattle Day by Day guidebook. The restaurant rotates once an hour so guests can enjoy a 360 degree view through huge plate glass windows. The manager actually stopped the restaurant from rotating so I could get a shot of a table perfectly centered in one of the big windows.
