I began my career in photography differently than other photographers in Raleigh. It started with editorial photography (ask me about it, it's a funny story) and began photographing weddings shortly afterwards. I've spent most of my life involved with visual arts in some way. My background in photography, cinematography & concert lighting all have shaped my photographic style & vision.
Based out of our Apex, NC photography studio, Brian Mullins Photography has several experienced wedding photographers allowing us to handle multiple weddings, feature in-house "secondary" photographers as well as back each other up in case of an accident, emergency or other unforeseeable situations.
With over 500 weddings delivered, I have put together a few words to describe our wedding photography experience. As I am a wedding photographer, and not a writer, this was more difficult than I thought it would be to write down but probably the most important page on my website! So, what is the Wedding Experience?

Anyone who has ever planned a large event knows that the only thing to expect is the unexpected. Hiring Brian felt like hiring a photographer, a crazy-relative-whisperer, a bodyguard, a venue manager, and a comedian all at once. He knew the Duke Chapel inside and out (including a LOT of unusual rules and requirements) and he brought his signature sense of calm and humor to every aspect of the day.
He was able to capture all the shots I wanted and many that I didn't even think were possible! And he was so incredibly patient with me as I procrastinated on finishing my wedding book. If you're looking for someone steady, calm, and immensely capable to be a part of your big day, I can't recommend him enough.

Brian was AMAZING! From our first conversation I knew he was our photographer. Like many brides I was vey anxious on the day of my wedding. He helped me feel at ease and has such a great personality. He is efficient and very likable. Then the best part of course was the actual photographs which are outstanding. I would highly recommend Brian Mullins!
