Ben considers himself a native Austinite ever since he was born at home in the Austin suburb of Bastrop, TX. He has never lived outside the Central Texas but after attending Texas State University, his photography studies and subsequent carrier in wedding photography has taken him around the globe from Los Angelous to New Zealand.

My name is Ben Godkin, owner and photographer of Godkin Photo. I live in the best city in the world! Austin Texas. I began shooting weddings fulltime after I recieved my BFA in Photography from Texas State University. My style is a mixture of fine art portraiture, photojournalism and environmental photography.
