Modeling
Report
Models have unique photographic needs. To be noticed requires really great pictures. Images of this quality and character are hard to come by. It takes a special cooperative spirit between model and photographer to achieve these special images. This cooperative approach to creating quality professional images is our preferred method for helping you get vibrant professional images.
We commonly start modeling sessions by holding an informal consultation at some public location away from our studios. This helps avoid work distractions and helps to establish a relaxed environment in which the model can explain his or her goals, and in which the model and photographer can work together to devise specific strategies to achieve those goals. This off-site session is generally held in a coffee shop, caf, park or other public location and typically lasts about an hour. You are of course free to bring along anyone else you wish.
Following the consultation our staff returns to our studios and drafts a modeling session scenario. This defines the types of shots to be taken, props and locations to be used, any makeup or hair styling to be employed (we can recommend professionals for this work if you need such assistance) , and the general goal of each photograph. To ensure that the model and photographer are working toward the same specific goals, we then forward this scenario to the model for review and comment. Once the model has returned these comments, a finalized version of the scenario is prepared and the modeling session is scheduled. The model will receive the finalized scenario prior to the modeling session so that any last minute changes can be considered prior to the session.

Location Portraiture
Report
Some of the most endearing portraits are taken on location. Images taken on location often benefit from natural lighting conditions and familiar surroundings. There is an additional degree of freedom that comes from location photography and this is often reflected in the mood of the portrait images. If your surroundings make you feel relaxed and comfortable, then your portraits will reflect this feeling of warmth, contentment, joy and excitement.
Common locations for portraits include homes, back yards, public parks, places of business, cars, or a host of other places where people feel they can capture a mood or be photographed in familiar or exotic surroundings.
