Lori photographed my wedding and took our engagement photos, and I'm grateful! I wholeheartedly recommend her for any occasion. She takes beautiful photos, is passionate, and works hard. Most of all, she knows how to make you smile!

I was temporarily staying in Rio Vista and needed a professional photo of myself for a book I was having published. I looked online and found Lori Makabe Photography. She quickly returned my phone call and scheduled me the next morning for a photo shoot. That afternoon she emailed me the proofs and I picked out the one I wanted to use. I then emailed the photo to my publishing company.

OMG! I can't even begin to express how AWESOME Lori Makabe is! My hubby and I are incredibly picky about photos because we both dabble in photography a bit ourselves, so we did quite a bit of shopping for photographers until we came upon Lori at the Suisun City Bridal Show. Her style of photos were exactly what we had been looking for, the package options were super reasonably priced, and included so much!

What really solidified the decision for us though was her super down to earth personality! Lori was so incredibly flexible and open to our ideas.particularly around our engagement shoot as we opted for the non-traditional route. On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant Katherine, were great with our guests and really did a PERFECT job of capturing really key moments and details of the day.

They blended in so well with our guests and really created a fun atmosphere to capture some amazing memories. When it was all said and done.it was an incredibly difficult task to narrow down the photos that we wanted for our album because there were HUNDREDS of GORGEOUS ones to choose from! All in all, I could not be happier with our choice. FABULOUS PHOTOS, FABULOUS HUMAN BEING! THANK YOU LORI!

Lori worked with Katherine on our Viaggio wedding and it was really nice to have 2 photographers on site. Katherine was able to shoot pics of the guys getting ready while Lori shot the girls. They spent almost 9 hours with us and were incredible. Lori has tons of energy and was always intent on getting the best shot. She took multiple pictures of each pose to be sure we liked it, and she was accommodating, flexible and prompt with email replies. Katherine was very professional too.

The two of them worked well together. Lori was patient with the wedding party while still keeping things moving. The shots turned out great & we were both very happy with how it all turned out. Lori also knew the venue well so already knew great shots to suggest. If you're going to do sunset photos, I would talk with her about a time limit for them ahead of time because you're taking away from time spent at your reception.
