Chris photographed our wedding in Glacier National Park. Overall Chris was very professional, attentive, charismatic, and extremely talented. During our wedding Chris got amazing photos without disrupting the festivities. There were no long boring shoots telling our guests where to stand and how to pose. He made if fun and not a chore. All of our guests were attended to and no one was left out. Chris' use of natural light during our cold gloomy Glacier wedding turned out 100% better than we expected.
He has a unique artistic style and had cool ideas that made our photos truly special. We would highly recommend Chris' services for any occasion, he did a spectacular job, and we could not be happier with the photos he took or our experience with him!

Chris Van Atta has a golden eye for photography. I am amazed by his images, and the energy transmitted through them. Chris has photographed me for my website, social media, and promotional materials. I highly recommend Chris for any photography needs. He was professional and sincere. I searched several photographers and found his pricing to be competitive and didn't involve any add-on's at the end. His love of life and photography shines through in his work. I hired him to do a family photo shoot of my blended family, consisting of four boys ages 4-12.
He managed to capture the smiles of our oldest (that tried his hardest to express his distaste for his current situation) while keeping the four year old interested and still enough to get great shots of the entire family. He was thorough and quick without being pushy, giving just enough instruction for us to do what he needed while still being ourselves (none of us are huge picture people). Once the shoot was done he provided a wide variety of traditional poses and candid shots. We couldn't be happier with our photos.
