Documentary photographer Brian Wedge: Stories and images of the extraordinary people and places he encounters. Most folks would tell you that it's because I have something to say, something to report or something incredible to share. The reality is that I actually have little to say, almost nothing news worthy to report and only the ordinary to share.

Was at the lodge for a wedding and it was beautiful! The grounds are extremely well kept, the cabins are absolutely beautiful and luxurious and the food was amazing! Would definitely recommend. My only suggestion is to have a soda machine or something available on site. The giftshop has snacks, but nothing to drink.

Great experience! Spent three days at Migis and had time to do a lot of fun things! Kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, hiking, and taking a motorboat tour around the lake. Also took a wonderful yoga class outside. On the last night, we brought some sparklers to light by the lake. Oh and the food was absolutely amazing, especially for a resort! There were four course meals in the dining room, and cookouts were very fun as well.
Almost every food was excellent. Highly recommend the blue crisp with vanilla ice cream if you have the chance to try it. The staff was friendly and they always made sure we were happy. We stayed at the Moonrise cottage which was very nice and cozy, with a nice view of the trees and lake in the background. Next time I visit, I'll try out the water skiing, and maybe a massage!

Tranquil escape from reality! Delicious food (and plentiful lobsters!), picturesque sunsets, and an extremely attentive staff combine for an ideal late summer getaway. Features an outdoor gym, tennis courts, kayaking / swimming in the lake, and more! Or just stroll around and enjoy the pristine Maine air

A really nice place. Good food and the staff is excellent. I would not recommend for anyone in a wheelchair. My party has someone who uses a cane/ walker to get around and it can be hard for them to maneuver. We've also taken to using our phones to light the way back to the cabin at night because the lamps to light the path don't do a very good job and poor balance and poor visibility are a bad combination. It is a good family resort if all of the children have left highschool. Lots of beautiful views and fun waterfront activities to occupy almost anyone.
