Karla is an absolutely wonderful woman to work with. I worked with her to have professional head shots taken - I originally contacted her on a Sunday by sending an email through her website. I heard back from her the next day. When I booked with her, she sent me tips and information on what I should wear and how I should style myself. The day before the pictures, I had an incident that resulted with a cut on my eye lid - I sent her a picture to see if we should rescheduled and she calmed me right down, let me know she would be able to photo shop the spot right out!

The day of my pictures, she was fantastic! I was nervous and didn't know what to expect but she put me at ease right away and I felt completely comfortable - and you could tell when we looked at the beautiful pictures she took of me! She said she would touch up the couple pictures I chose and have them to my by Monday - and she delivered the finished pictures right on time. I absolutely loved working with her and will be contacting her again when my family is ready for professional pictures!

Karla and Charlie have a skill for photography, especially capturing the 'decisive moment', able to capture subjects in a way few can. Highly recommended

Karla and Charlie do an incredible job. My fiance and I were both so nervous to have photos done and felt so uncomfortable. But once we started our session, they both put us at ease. They are true professionals that go above and beyond. They have an incredible eye and their pictures are absolutely gorgeous. I can't wait for them to photograph our wedding.

I had a wonderful experience last week with Karla and Waterhouse Photography for my professional head shot session. This is actually my 2nd time returning for this type of photo shoot, so I was excited to work with them once again. I was also present for my brother and sister-in-law's photo session with their family pets. Karla and Charlie are incredibly professional and I could not have been happier with the results.

I have had numerous compliments from family, friends and clients on these most recent photos. I particularly get nervous when doing things like this, because it makes me feel uneasy. Karla quickly settled my nerves by playing my favorite music and creating an extremely comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for my session. This may not seem like a big deal to most people, but it is incredibly important to me and allowed me to breeze through the rest of the session and produce the most positive results for my photos. I highly recommend Waterhouse Photography.

Disappointed for my daughter's pictures. The owner's make up artist did a very poor job. Too heavily made up and hair had a major crimp from the flat iron. You could also see the end of the false eyelash coming off. Paid for the session but did not pay for any pictures. Out of all the pictures there really were only 2 that we would have bought. However, you cannot order anything a la carte until you buy a minimum $399 package. You also do NOT get digital rights.

Karla photographed our son's senior pictures recently. She made it such a positive experience for him. He was nervous in the beginning but Karla got him to relax and really got his personality to shine through. She has an excellent photographic eye. The photos turned out fantastic. We had a group family photo done here at their studio in Auburn Hills while visiting my in-laws over the holidays. Karla and Charlie listened very intently to what we told them we wanted and guided us to a great family photo that we absolutely love and will treasure for years to come. The experience was fun and we had the impression that we were in very good hands from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Well worth the price we paid to have the photo taken professionally. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with Waterhouse Photography several years ago for a family portrait, and were excited to work with them again for my daughter's senior pictures. They were very accommodating and easy to work with during the photo shoot (hair, makeup and accessories included) and the end result was just stunning! Couldn't be more pleased with her photos.if you want a very high-touch personal experience and excellent quality I highly recommend Waterhouse.

Ha! I could've sworn I saw a foreword, before typing, that says, "PLEASE DON'T REVIEW THIS BUSINESS.IF YOU'RE CONNECTED, IN ANY WAY, TO THE OWNER OR EMPLOYEES." Hmmm, Karla W, the OWNER, chose to do otherwise. Nevertheless, your rebuttal (thank you, just proves my point) continues to speak VOLUMES about your LACK of professionalism.

I will not even stoop to your level, by responding to your lies. What I will say is, THANK YOU, for realizing your wrong, and understanding the SEVERITY of having a complaint posted, about your company, on Yelp. Woo hoo! We will use that REFUND of our deposit, that you gave us, to find a professional photography studio. You, My Dear, don't have a clue of what professionalism is about. That's ok, because we won't be using your services, or referring ANYONE to your business. What's funny is, I'd considered removing my complaint, because I figured you saw the error in your ways when Charlie, your husband and business partner, visited my daughter's job, on Saturday, September 29, 2012, to issue a refund, to her, after seeing my Yelp complaint.

He mentioned he didn't appreciate me calling you savages, in my initial complaint. Don't act like savages, and I won't call you as I see you. After seeing the lies you posted, in your rebuttal, I have, now, chosen to, PERMANENTLY, keep this complaint up. Thanks, for helping me with this decision. I would like to add, if you, or your husband, Charlie, approach my minor child EVER, again, I will be filing a formal complaint of harassment. Stay away from her. You gave her the refund. We have NO reason to have ANY, further, dealings. It's OVER. MOVE ON. Thanks, again

Karla and Charlie are amazing. Karla photographed my oldest daughter for her communion and both Karla and Charlie photographed my second oldest. They took a lot of time to do a range of different poses, backgrounds, effects. They were absolutely wonderful with my kids. The photos turned out exceptionally well, Karla has a very artistic eye and did a fantastic job with the cropping, colorization options, etc. I couldn't be happier with the photos. They are both gracious and welcoming, and their assistant Rica is also great.
