Lynwood Studios consists primarily of Jayna LaVerde and her husband and her husband Jon. This review is for Jayna, who also has a separate website in addition to the Lynwood one, which is www.portraitsbyjayna.com. Jayna specializes in children and family photography, but don't let that stop you from using her services for other things. I use her for business photography.
Color photos for business cards and also photos for website use. In my industry (mortgages and real estate), photos are a vital way to establishing relationships with clients. People making transactions that large want to see who they're working with and feel comfortable with that person. That's where Jayna comes in. Every new originator (and many managers) in my company has their photo taken, and I send them to Jayna for the photos.
Every picture she takes has been the highest quality, even before retouching (although retouching never hurts). Her prices are also reasonable. Quality and price can only get you so far, though. It's Jayna's personality that steals the show. Jayna is a sheer joy to work with. She makes ever the weariest of subjects feel comfortable (and trust me, I have some pretty weary subjects in my office). Only one note: She's quite busy during the holidays, so if you need holiday photos, be sure to schedule early in the year!
