We had the pleasure of working with Mike for our courthouse wedding. He made us feel very comfortable having only just met him, had really good rates for having given him a week's notice (!), and turned around amazing photos to share with our families quite promptly. We look forward to working with him again in the future.

Did the photos for my daughter's sweet 16, knowledgeable photographer who made sure we got pictures of everything and everyone.

HiLite Studios provided me with John, a fantastic videographer who always knew what to do and where to go and worked very hard. Our video came out grade and Mike helped organize a great experience.

Mike Lee helped make the arrangements and John too the great video. The price was fair and the editing was terrific. I recommend to all.

Mike and Jim were so friendly and professional. From the minute I sat down with mike for a consultation I knew that I didn't want anyone else for a photographer. We were initially attracted to HiLite for their affordable pricing, and though were were originally going with the smallest package, Mike treated us as if we were spending a fortune. We were able to upgrade to a deluxe package later on, and I was not disappointed.

Between Mike and Jim I didn't have to worry about a thing. My guests can't stop raving about them. We received our pictures back yesterday and we are in LOVE. I am not usually photogenic so I was nervous about pictures - but I was nervous for nothing! Thank you Mike & Jim for making our memories perfect!

Mike and HiLite Studios gave us the greatest wedding experience we could have asked for for a very reasonable price. He was phenomenal at getting tons of shots while making sure we were able to enjoy the party. It's hard to put into words how great he was, but to give anyone reading this a sense it, I wish I could give him 10 out of 5 stars. A must have at any event.

Last min photo shoot. My husband planned a surprised photo shoot for my birthday and when we arrived at the park the rain started to pour down. Now he knows absolutely nothing about YELP so in his doing he just went to google and found a Photo Studio that we can go to and take pictures. That's how we learned of HiLite Studio. Now to be honest this isn't a she she la la place.

I was like ummmmm this guy is going to take our pictures. His Studio was very small only had about 2 or maybe 3 back drops and I didn't see any props. We was in and out less then 7 min. I was truly in fact disappointed. I don't remember the photographer name but he was very nice. His Studio did display some of his work and it was ok, nothing to really brag about.

He also restores damage portraits which showed his work to be good. After leaving there I felt like I had to write a review, but my heart said no and to wait for the pictures to come back. The next day we got a call to come look at these pictures and I was thinking the worse, but when I saw them they was absolutely beautiful OMG and it wasn't even touched up yet.

I loved everything about the pictures from the way he position us to everything else. I definitely wanted him to touch my chest up due to my two uneven skins tone color that really stood out. Well least to me. Overall this guy is awesome and he knows what he is doing. He is expensive but worth it. My husband did not let me know how much he paid exactly.

Within a week or two our pictures was ready for pick up and the family absolutely loves them. Such perfect pictures. I told my husband these pictures look like they belong on the cover of a magazine. Bottom line is don't judge a book by its cover, I highly recommend this guy

HiLite Studios is fantastic. They were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them to all looking for a photographer for any special event.

Extremely disappointed. They pick the photos for the cheap album they give you. Most of them are blurry and out of focus. The indoor ones look like everyone stayed in the tanning salon too long. The owner mike is not returning my emails and hung up on my husband today. I'm heartbroken that my wedding photos were ruined and that mike is doing nothing to make the situation better. My whole cocktail hour is missing. Mike will also tell you that him or one of his family members will shoot the photos that's a LIE!

My wife made a surprise birthday party for me and had HiLite Studios photograph the event. The photographs taken captured my surprise the moment I walked into the party and provide professional quality lasting memories of the entire celebration. The photographer, Jim, was conscientious, unobtrusive, cooperative and a pleasure to work with. He was creative in the poses he arranged and gladly accommodated our special requests.

I went with Hilte for video last minute as a gift to my niece who had not hired a videographer for her wedding. Working with Mike was a breeze. He was very fair and reassuring. The Videographer was on time and like the Enegizer Bunny. He was everywhere and caught everything. The editing job was AMAZING. Needless to say my niece and now husband were extatic watching their Reception on video, tears of joy flowed. I CANNOT RECOMMEND HILITE ENOUGH. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. THE VIDEO WAS PERFECTION.

Used Hilite in Dec. 2007 for my older daughter's Bat Mitzvah. They were very professional, polite and produced a quality album and video. What I liked most about them is that they accomplished all of the photo shoots we wanted but did not get in the way of the party. I've been to too many weddings and bar/bat mitzvahs where the photographers are so busy "producing" a "movie" that they forget the let the client enjoy the day.

We were so pleased with their work that we used them again for our second daughter's bat mitzvah. Again, my husband and I found mike and allen an absolute pleasure to work with.

HiLite Studios provided the photographer for my wedding this past weekend and I could not be happier with the service. We hit a few bumps in the road trying to obtain permits for a difficult location in Long Island City. Mike worked tirelessly to prepare the necessary paper work and make my wedding dream come true. We were able to obtain the permits just in the nick of time and I was already ecstatic.

Fast forward to the actual wedding day.my photographer DON was a godsend. He was simply incredible. The morning of the wedding, the groomsmen and groom were scattered around the hotel dillydallying and I was very concerned that we were going to be late. Don basically rounded up all of them and helped them get ready! He rode with my in the limo and helped prep me for the day. i felt like he was my very own wedding coordinator as well as photographer.

When our best man forgot the rings and had to go back to the hotel, Don kept my tiger mother under control and kept the whole bridal party calm. He was everywhere and captured every moment. I cannot express how pleased I was with Don. When Mike said that he was giving us one of the best, I thought that maybe he said that about all of the photographers, but it is so true, Don truly is the best. Thank you hilite for making my wedding so incredibly memorable!
