Working with Kate was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Neither of us consider ourselves particularly comfortable in front of a camera but Kate's ability to gently direct us where we needed to be made everything so easy.
I specialize in portraits- playful photos of just the kids, beautiful group family photos, and senior portraits that really capture the spirit of your teen. At a location of your choice, I work to make the sessions relaxed and comfortable allowing me to capture spontaneous and authentic moments. I incorporate natural and fill light to create beautiful images in both black & white and color.
In 1990, I began an ongoing project documenting the amazing work of The Haitian Health Foundation, founded in 1985 by Dr. Jeremiah Lowney, a Connecticut orthodontist. The Haitian Health Foundation, located in Jeremie, a rural city in Southwestern Haiti, has established a stable and responsive preventive and curative health care system and development programs in one of the poorest areas of Haiti. In addition to the city of Jeremie, HHF provides support to over 100 rural mountain villages in the Grand'Anse.
