Note: If you are trying to fool anyone with your auditioning headshot please go to one of my competitors. Please do not cut a picture out of a magazine, take it to a photographer and say, 'I want this.' Big mistake! I like to deal with all my clients directly, not shuffle you off to my assistant so be patient. If I can't come to the phone I will call you back and answer all of your questions personally. After we have finished our session and you have gone over your images with everyone that you wanted to help you then it is time to use email.

Note: Please DO NOT e-mail me for Information or to book and appointment regarding Headshots. CALL! I do not quote prices or give info via email. I find it to be toooo impersonal!. Here is a sampling of the thousands of Actor's Headshots that Bob Lasky has taken over his 40+ years in the industry.
You do not want the Casting Director's eye to go to your clothing before or instead of you. Please note that since commercial, film and corporate spokesperson headshots have made a shift to color you must pay attention to the color of your wardrobe. For example, if you have blue eyes a blue shirt will bring out the color of your eyes, green eyes a green shirt, etc. (you do not need to wear brown if you have brown eyes) Colorful, vibrant colors, not pastel will get attention, especially for commercials.
Read below what Casting Directors, Actors, Acting Coaches, Makeup Artists etc. have to say about Bob. If you would like to write a testimonial scroll to the bottom of the page and write about your experience/session with Bob Lasky. This was several years ago, and I was recommended by Iris Acker my acting teacher (whom I loved).
Bob Lasky was born in Philadelphia, relocating to the Miami area in 1971. Bob has worked extensively with advertising agencies, record companies, magazines, celebrities and various clients in America, as well as Europe. Most of Lasky's work encompasses Beauty, Glamour, Lifestyle, Fashion, Musician and Celebrity photography.

I cannot possibly say anything bad about our photoshoot journey. From the moment we got there, we were greeted with a smile. Not just a regular vendor kinda smile. The smile you receive meeting up with a good old friend kinda smile. A perfect gentleman. My family loved Bib. And my dog Nico made a new friend with uncle Bob. What a great artist! And in our own backyard!

We shared music and videos and stories that are well worth the visit. For a professional photoshoot, this is the place and the person to do it. 10/10! Coming back in a few months for more.

Getting pictures taken by Bob, was one of the funnest experiences I've had in the bussiness, He was very patient with me, and has a structured process that has proven to be infallible to get great pictures. I came in filled with anxiety and nervousness as I initially though I had to prepare something, as an actor, to look more "dramartic" or have a more "commercial" look, but Bob assured me that he knew what to do to get the best shot, and the final result spoke for itself, not only he has the most experienced out of all photogrpahers I've met, he is delivers what he promises.

He is a professional, tremendously experience and a really sweet guy, I really felt like he cared about me, and getting the look that agencies, managers and casting directors would want. For as long as I am able, and whenever I need a picture, I will go to Bob.

Bob Lasky's photographs convinced me that there is far more to great photography than pushing a button. For artists, actors, singers and others in the public eye, the first lasting impression most potential clients get comes from a photo. One moment, one image, a few images at best to make the impression that will tell people who you are and will move you forward. Over the years whenever I've sent a press kit, Bob's photos are always chosen by clients and press.

Bob is the man! There is a reason why people travel from all over to shoot with him! I've worked with him before and he is a consumate professional who is committed to excellence. Not only is he a true artist, but he also goes out of his way to make you laugh for your smiley "commercial"shots and sets the pensive tone with music. For example, for some of my dark, dramatic shots, he played "The Sound of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel. Bob will listen to what you have to say in terms of your branding, your type.

His work is recognizable, striking and most importantly, TRUE. His photography sings *true*, both how you look like and who you are as a person. I have always recommended him to other artists and always will. Great headshots pay for themselves and for the masterpieces he creates, Bob is beyond reasonable. When your headshot is your business card, and when your headshot is a thumbnail in a sea of thumbnails submitted online, you cannot afford to work with anyone but the BEST. Bob, I LOVE YOU AND YOUR WORK SO MUCH! Thank you for the headshots of my dreams!
