Their exhibits are always thought provoking. I just wish they didn't print the photos as posters.

I organized a field trip to introduce our students to photography. Our guide, Barbara, shared a wealth of information about different types of photography, camera, techniques, available classes and background stories about the photos on exhibit. If you are looking for a way to expand your child's understanding of photographic art, I highly encourage you to plan a visit.

I started out learning to use my DSLR camera, progressed to Lightroom and on to Photoshop. I try to take the location shoots; McCarthy Wildlife Sanctuary, Morikami Gardens, even the Waterfront on West Palm Beach. Each time I find new ways to use my camera. The teachers are very professional and some are famous. Vincent Versace(Nikon Ambassor), Laurence Gartel(Father of Digital editing). I joined the Center so I could get the discounts, money well spent.

My 13 y/o daughter has attend a two-day workshop and a youth meet workshop and she has nothing but positive things to say about her experience. Further, the pictures that she has taken are beautiful and breathtaking and I'm in awe of the skills she's picked up in such a short amount of time. Lastly, the staff is courteous and professional.

Palm Beach Photographic Center is an incredible place! I was looking for some photography classes a few years ago and found them in downtown West Palm Beach. They have a museum where beautiful work from photographers is exhibited, a shop where you can buy new equipment or consign old equipment, and they have awesome classes. I have mostly taken classes with Shane.

I started with a basic/101 class to get familiar with my DSLR camera and have since taken multiple classes where we go into the community, shoot, then return to the class to look at our photos, edit and critique our work. Shane is amazing! He is a great experienced coach, who is super helpful, and gives you ideas of things to look for when you're out shooting.

He's extremely helpful with editing and you can tell he's very passionate about what he does. I can't wait to take more classes there! I always learn so much and I'm endlessly inspired by being in their classes.

The staff and students have been an absolute joy! We started with one class over the holiday and our daughter has participated in the monthly meet up ever since! The classes are a worthwhile investment and our daughter is learning so much! We plan to continue classes throughout middle and high school and foster this amazing hobby! Give it a try! You will not be disappointed!

Talked to a guy on the phone about buying a timer, then drove about 40 minutes to the store and paid for parking to have the door shut in my face just because "The building closes at 5". How about telling me that on the phone before driving all the way to West Palm Beach during rush hour! I'll just buy the timer of Amazon since they are actually reliable, less expensive, and accept returns.

I put my 14 year old niece in a weekend 1 day class. I was concerned about it being an all adult class but wanted her to get the experience she was starting to Love photography. The instructor assured me she would be fine she works with kids all the time. Well my niece was miserable didn't learn much and didn't even bring pictures home she had a drive to save them. This was a waste of $95 and a day, her last spring break day could have spent at Disney instead. #Ifeelcheated. Brightside I won't be spending $800+ on summer camp here.

Very disappointed in these guys. I brought my Canon EOS Rebel XS for repairs. The problem was a malfunctioning shutter release, fairly common problem and ultimately fixable. I was told the camera was not repairable and they immediately showed me a new camera body for $399. Good thing I like to shop around. Found Southern Camera in Delray and for less than $160.00 my camera is cleaned, repaired and has a 1 year warranty, like new! I will not be back, Photographic Center

Dishonest people. I spoke with Allison. I purchased a monopod for a shot at the train station. The monopod was a non standard thread size and did not fit my camera. I brought the monopod back to them with my camera and they were unable to connect it to my camera. They then refused to return the money. The product is currently in their inventory at their store yet they continue to refuse to return the money I paid for the monopod.

This is why I say that Allison is a dishonest person since it seems that she is interested in making double profit on their products by short changing honest citizens in the west palm beach area.
