I have been in the industry for 25 years, and have been recognized as one of the most sought after wedding photographers on the east coast. Here's the reason for that: trust between a photographer and client becomes an ultimate relationship that can only bring about total satisfaction and joy for everyone.
I have been truly blessed to have my photography featured on magazines covers all over the country. Some of the publications include: Grace Ormonde, Munaluchi Bride, South Asian Bride, Essence, Vibe, MunaLuchi Bride Magazine 2015 Spring Cover, Jet, Rangefinder, Wedding Style, Hampton Roads Magazine, Vow, Virginia Living and Destination I Do.
A Approximately 30 days after your wedding, your photos will be posted to our online web gallery for viewing. In addition, you may share this link with your family and friends also. We travel extensively all over the world capturing weddings. You would be responsible for lodging and travel expenses.

Do Not Hire! Horrible Attitude! I was super excited to hire and meet Keith Cephus Photography. After viewing his website and an initial booking conversation I anticipated a success story. It did not take very long for the warning signs to being after my booking that eventually resulted in a DISASTER. Prior to the event he called me to confirm location and time.
He began giving me the details of someone else event. When I brought it to his attention he said "Don't worry your event will be great." I laughed it off at that point but I guess I should not have. All guest were required to take a Covid test prior to the event. He was the ONLY person who gave me a hard time about being tested. On the day of the event, he arrived LATE.
When I called him he became dismissive, stating "Don't worry about my time because you will love the photos. " I requested a 1 hour private shoot prior to the event but was given 10-15 minutes. It was rushed. During the event he was drinking, socializing instead of taking quality photos, and appeared bothered when guest and host requested photos to be taken.
There were several complaints during and after the event by guests. I bought none of this to his attention to avoid any drama and I was hoping that his word was true and that my pictures would be great. THEY WERE NOT. I was promised the photos in 4 days after the event, I had to call him a week later and the photos were still not ready. I received a call several days later informing me that they were finally ready.
The photos were NOT of good quality. There were NO light corrections, NO cropping, NO smoothing, etc. The work that you would expect from such a "professional" was missing. I was immediately disappointed. I did not want to call him about it because of his previous behavior. I dreaded the call. I received a call on the same day from one of the vendors informing me that Keith had also sent them all of my photos.
This bothered me tremendously and that was the push I needed to call him to discuss the photos. The thought of unflattering photos of myself being spread around was was extremely bothersome to me. I made the call. When he answered the phone, there was an immediate attitude. He was rushing me off he phone, yelling and not listening to any of my concerns.
I asked him if it was common practice to share pictures with the vendors without permission. The yelling got worst and he began to call me "crazy" and "special." I don't ever write reviews but I had to make an exception in this case. This was a regrettable experience. His attitude towards making amends and providing the proper solution to the problem left an extremely poor taste in my mouth; especially for someone in this line of business.
Save yourself the trouble. Its not worth it! This review will save you from a hassle that is not needed especially during a happy time such as weddings or parties. DO NOT HIRE!

Keith Cephus can have all of my money (okay maybe not all)! He and his team did a fabulous job at our wedding on 4/15/18. I actually met him at my friend's wedding back in 2015 and that's when he became my dream photographer. His pictures on Instagram were absolutely stunning and I remember telling my mother that I hope when I get married, he would be able to do my wedding and I'm so glad that dreams really do come true. Keith was so relaxed and simply wanted to get to know my now husband and I during our initial conversation.
He would call and check in to see how things were going while we were still in our planning phase and he also helped me to decide between two other vendors (he's the best so I knew his recommendation would be also). Nadine was very quick and responsive to any questions that I had. And the rest of his team were so professional on the day of the wedding.
Everything leading up to the wedding dealing with Keith Cephus Photography helped to put me at ease for the big day. I'll be honest, I was a little nervous about the price initially but looking back, it was well worth it and more! The pictures are what remain after the big day so there's no room to trust just anybody with that responsibility. When I look back on my wedding day 50 years from now, I will be so glad that I invested in a top notch photographer.

Keith has done a maternity session with my family as well as 2 family portrait sessions. All three sessions were outstanding! He's always coming up with new and creative ideas. He's always professional and friendly, and has also worked well with getting my toddler to smile (which is a feat in itself). I can't express how impressed I have been with his photography!

KEITH IS TRULY THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER! Keith Cephus and his staff are amazing. Thank you Nadine for all your help. I have been following Keith for a long time so I already knew that he was gifted. I was so nervous but Keith turned that around for me quickly. He did a wonderful job. I am so excited about my photos for my book cover and website. I was recommended to Keith by a good friend of mine. I actually saw portraits he took for her when her son was born! From day one I knew I wanted Keith to do my wedding. I was so excited to have him and he did an AMAZING job capturing the love my Husband and I share. From our engagement photos, to my bridal portraits, and finally our BIG DAY, Keith, his crew, and his wife Nadine were all professional and provided us with everything we hoped for. Keith is nothing shy of an artist with his photography.

One of the best decisions my fiance and I could have made for our wedding was booking Keith Cephus Photography. Keith not only included wedding photography in our package but our photo album and engagement photos as well. We just received our engagement photos and he blew us away with his work! Every picture Keith produces is mind blowing amazing.
Not only did our engagement pictures turn out beautifully - but he was incredibly easy and fun to work with from beginning to end. He is very flexible and easy going. We are looking forward to him shooting for our wedding day. We highly suggest meeting with Keith and booking him for any upcoming photo needs you may have - he's worth every penny!

Keith and his team were phenomenal! My husband and I got married on the beach and he captured so many stunning photos through his use of lighting as well as placement to highlight the various natural backgrounds. He was friendly and laid back yet professional which allowed us to feel like we had known him for years! This made the whole process comfortable and fun!
I laughed non stop for most of the evening! He has immense creativity and doesn't miss even the smallest details! His staff is also great and his wife is the other half of the equation! She helped us with many questions before we booked as well as during and after. Due to a personal tragedy, our original wedding date had to be postponed just days before the date. Keith and Nadine were so compassionate and understanding.
They sent us a beautiful sympathy card and were so sweet when we first met them in person. We highly recommend Keith Cephus Photography! Oh, and before I forget, the quality of the photo album that we received with our package was second to none!

We originally began working with Keith for our engagement session in 2008. Since then he has photographed our maternity shoot and several family sessions. He has beautifully captured so many special moments in our life and he always makes us look so fabulous while doing so! Keith is like family and he has watched our own famiy grow. He is always recommended by us. He is THE BEST at what he does! If you want lasting memories and beautiful shots, that are unique and "outside of the box", Keith is your man!

KEITH EXCEEDS ALL EXPECTATIONS! Keith Cephus and his team are the very best Hampton Roads has to offer. He is amazingly talented and every bride can trust him to capture them at their most beautiful. I don't know how he does it but he has the ability to make everyone feel like a rock star! Keith's experience and expertise combined with a solid desire to make everyone feel and look their most beautiful means he exceeds all expectations every time. Keith is very creative--a true artist. From ALL of my interactions with the Team from the Office Manager to the Staffed Photographers and of course to Keith Cephus himself. We have ENJOYED every moment.
