Lucie is an incredible photographer and person, which really helps so much when dealing with trusting someone to photograph your baby and toddler. Her studio space is gorgeous, with all kinds of options for accessories and clothing to really enhance your photographs. The experience was so seamless and she was so patient and kind with the little ones. The result? Absolutely timeless photographs of our boys during a time that goes way too quickly. HIRE HER!

Lucie is the best photographer on the island, I love her soft clean edits (check out her photos on Instagram @luciexyz.photography.hawaii) she took my now 2 year old and newborn photos in her home studio. You can't compare her to other photographers on the Island she has a a lot of cute props to choose from that aren't too staged, also have dresses/accessories for moms, babies and toddler. Make sure you book ahead, and take screenshots of the props you like so she can have it ready for you. Book with Lucie you won't regret it!

Lucie was amazing from the beginning of session until the last time I saw her which was when the album ordered was delivered! She made my entire family and most importantly my toddler feel extremely comfortable! She also had snacks for my toddler while we waited which was amazing! BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER!

We did a one year milestone (plus maternity) package with Lucie. She was very nice and patient in taking our pictures as well as discussing about locations and which album to go with. She sure knows how to make the kids laugh/smile for pictures. Her husband, who works behind the scene is very thorough and quick with providing instructions and troubleshooting technical issues. Overall, Lucie was pleasant to work with.

Such an incredible experience! You can tell there is passion for what she does. The newborn session was so amazing and we felt very comfortable. The photos are so beautiful they are so well done a precious keepsake. Can't wait to get more done.

We chose LucieXYZ to do our family portrait for the holidays and we cannot be happier with the results. I think anyone with kids can all agree that taking good pictures is impossible especially when they're at young age. We have two boys, 4 and 2 yr old, and one 5 month baby girl, picture that! Lucie was very quick, she works fast and efficient, my kids loved her, she's so much fun and most of all, very patient!

I think that's important for a photographer. She gave all the effort she could for us to have a nice time and of course to have great pictures. When we got to her studio which is at her place, she first sat with us in the living room which is by the way comfortable and accommodating with a breathtaking view of the ocean. She played with the boys to get them comfortable and ready, and she also had a diaper changing station out little one.

Upon booking, Lucie was never strick about the time, she's very flexible and willing to work with any schedule as long as it's available. So on the day of shoot, it only took us 1 hour to get everything done and to see the results, it seems like it would've taken longer. she has many great shots of us, family, our kids, siblings, solos, Mom&Dad and a lot more family fun. my boys enjoyed that snowball fight, they were all giggling and just having fun, laughing we didn't even notice we were already done. I was searching for a photographer to do First Birthday pictures of my son, Elijah, and I am SO glad I came across Lucie! From the first phone call with her, to the end of the shoot, I was more than pleased! Her and her husband were emailing back and forth with me to get the details in line. She helped me with a theme and helped me decide where to get a cake made.

When I arrived at our shoot, a few of the buttons on my sons shirt came off. Lucie was so kind and helped me sew them back on. She has a beautiful studio and many props to work with. My son is very shy and she was able to make him feel comfortable and get a few smiles out of him even with a mask on! She has a true skill and talent for this job. She is also so friendly and warm!

I came by myself to the shoot and she came out and helped me carry my things up. This is by far one of the best photographers I've worked with. We will be using her again in the future! Her photos are absolutely stunning and she's very quick about getting them back to you! Thank you Lucie & Sam! :

Back in February (in a pre-COVID Hawaii), we're blessed enough to win a photo shoot with Lucie. Then of course COVID struck. In the midst of all the stress and uncertainty the pandemic brought, my husband and I got married. Not the wedding we planned but the result is the same. LOL! Fast forward to October. We're slowly opening up again and feel safe enough to book our session with Lucie.

She was easy to schedule with and even recommended a location since we didn't have a particular one in mind. She took the time to ask our story and get to know us a bit before our scheduled shoot. I let her know that my daughter and I would be wearing our dresses that were supposed to be for our wedding and asked if we would be able to do a wardrobe change as well.

We weren't really sure what to expect, photo shoots are not a norm for us. Day before the shoot: it's forecasted to be overcast. Lucie contacts me and we discuss moving our sunrise shoot to a little later given the forecast. We're ok with it. Can't change the weather, just have to roll with it. Day of the shoot: we get to the location and it's raining.

Of course! LOL! Luckily it subsided and Lucie said the bit of overcast we got during that time of day would make great photos. We took pictures for about an hour and a half including the one wardrobe change. Lucie was fun and engaging the entire time! Her personality is amazing. She's professional, funny, and easy going all at the same time. It's only been a few days so we haven't seen all the photos yet, but she did share a few already and we are in love! My husband and I were in search of a newborn photographer who could photograph our baby boy Xander. We searched on yelp and fell in love with Lucie's work! I'll be the first to admit that I am a very picky, selective person in general but especially in this case because he was our first born child and we were going to use the photos to make a baby announcement and baby shower thank you cards.

We wanted it perfect. One concern we had was the risk of our baby contracting covid-19. We haven't been taking Xander out anywhere because of the pandemic so we wanted to make sure she would be wearing a mask. which she did. :) We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Lucie's studio. She has sooooo many different props, backgrounds, and outfits! (Good luck choosing! ) we had lots of fun working with Lucie!

She is the sweetest person ever and she is very easy to work with! Another plus is. she will get you your photos asap! Usually photographers will take a good 3 weeks or so before completing the edits. Lucie has a great team as well. her husband Sam works alongside her and their daughter Kaili is the cutest! Lucie is the best at what she does! I couldn't be happier with my newborn pictures and family photos. The pictures come out crisp, clean, bright AND she somehow manages to get my baby to not cry and captures the most precious moments! She is extremely friendly and makes everyone feel comfortable--you will not believe it, but not photographers are good at that! No matter what the circumstance is, Lucie is able to work magic. I've had the pleasure of working with Lucie and her husband on two separate occasions and both times I was in love with every single photo. I reached out to LucieXYZ on a Sunday night to see if she had any openings available for a newborn shoot. She was very quick in responding and I got super lucky and she was able to take me the next day on Monday. I was very concerned since my newborn always makes grouchy faces and is often crying when he's awake. Lucie assured me that it would be ok.

Once we got to her place, we were ready to start photographing. Lucie was amazing with my baby and I was so amazed how calm he stayed and even snored. The room was warm to help him keep calm and it really worked. She had tons of cute props and all her backdrops were impressively organized. I also liked that she took photos of the family. I only expected to get newborn photos but having a few family shots was a really nice touch.

I recommend Lucie to anyone searching for a newborn photographer. Another nice thing she has are these really nice books that you can have photos from newborn all the way to a year old.

I met Lucie at the baby family expo last year. She had the style of photos I was searching for my new born baby pictures. I also researched lots of other newborn photographers on Oahu, and Lucie was by far the best priced, and offered so many type of packages. She does her photo sessions at her place. I was amazed how professional her photo studio set up was.

She had everything on hand from different fluffy rugs, backgrounds, and blankets to so many cute hairbands and outfits for baby. Her props had no end she has so many to choose from. I especially loved how Lucie was so gentle and loving when handling baby Taylor. She knew how to calm her down if Taylor was on the verge of waking up. And she never forced baby to do a certain pose for the picture.

If baby wasn't ready she would try again later or take whatever pose the baby is more comfortable in. Lucie asked us what type of photos we wanted and she would go from there. I also liked how I could bring my own outfits or stuff animals to use for the pictures. I would definitely recommend her to anyone how wants great photos of their newborns.

Couple of my friends are giving birth this year, so I will be showing them my photos when I receive them, and letting them know to go to Lucie for their newborn photos. I'll update when I receive my photos.

We reached out to the LucieXYZ team for newborn photos and ended up getting four sessions across our son's first year. We have had three sessions so far and each time the experience and photos have just been awesome. We were a little hesitant at first to book FOUR sessions, but absolutely have no regrets and LOVE the high quality photos of our family.

I have thousands of pictures on my phone, but there's no comparison. Absolutely would do it again! The first session, about a week after our son was born, was in her studio. Lucie has so many props and backgrounds to choose from, you'll be sure to find something perfectly adorable and unique! She was also pretty accommodating in having a diaper station ready and helping to heat up milk.

The next session was in our home and with grandparents. Our 4-month old was pretty grumpy and serious that day, even before Lucie got there so I was a bit worried about how the photos would turn out, but she somehow was able to capture that 1-second smile and we had a lot of great photos from that day too! When we told her we wanted our next session to be in a forest, she recommended a great baby-friendly hike and it was actually the first one we did as a family. I'm also so grateful that she suggested we take some photos of just mom-and-baby or dad-and-baby. Those photos are really special to me. Looking forward to our next session!

Chose this company out of about 7 others that came highly recommended and we are so happy we did! They were so fun and creative to work with. We are a crazy bunch and the wedding turned out this much better because of the moments they captured for us! I've attached a few below and will definitely use them in the future for any events we host! Lucie and her husband are wonderful people and we loved working with them!

I honestly cannot say enough nice things about Lucie and Sam. Lucie was my friend's wedding photographer when I was a bridesmaid and I fell in love with her personality. The day is stressful, but Lucie has a calming presence. I was so thrilled when she was available to photograph my wedding! Lucie promptly responded to all my emails, even though she was on a long family vacation during our correspondence.

She answered all of my questions and as the date neared, we spoke on the phone a couple of times. She really wanted to make sure she understood my vision for the day. We had a very intimate ceremony literally at the crack of dawn and Lucie and Sam were there and ready to go! I had some very unique demands and Lucie and Sam did everything in their power to make the day go exactly as I had envisioned.

I am so grateful for them for going above and beyond, I wish I could give them more than five stars. The pictures are unbelievable and I still look at them all the time, I love them so much! We were sent the files right away and they are all so gorgeous! It was honestly the best day of my life and the pictures reflect that so perfectly. We had very few guests, but my 16 month old nephew was included.

We were a little concerned about how he would do at such an early hour for such an important event, but Lucie worked her magic and was able to make him smile and laugh in every photo. I highly recommend them and would jump at the opportunity to hire them again.

Lucie's amazing and the pictures she took of my family turned out beautiful. We were in Oahu for a family vacation and I scheduled an hour family photo session with her. She was incredibly responsive, easy to work with and her pictures are gorgeous. I have a little boy with autism and she was able to capture some beautiful pics of him. It's tough to capture his pics because he is a very energetic little boy and it takes A LOT of patience to get him to even look at the camera. Lucie was able to capture some beautiful pics of our family and I was seriously amazed with her work.

She was able to get our pictures back to us quickly, even before we returned home. And on the day we arrived home, about 10 days after our shoot, we received a beautiful picture card of one of the photos she captured as a thank you card. This was a wonderful surprise and so wonderful to come home to. I will definitely use her again when we return to the island. I highly recommend Lucie and can't wait to work with her again!

She worked miracle.! We did family portrait with 11 month old daughter. My daughter had ear infection, and super grumpy, we couldn't re-schedule because we are from Florida with limited time. She cried for anything we tried! I though, we wasted time and money. We were wrong! Lucie knows how to work with baby, and she makes baby smiles! I just cannot say enough thank you.

Let me first begin with. WOW! Lucie is beyond amazing! We had a magical photo shoot at a packed and crowded beach in Hawaii. There were sooo many people at the beach that day, however in all the photos it looks as though we were the only ones there in our own private romantic oasis. We will definitely be booking Lucie for our wedding!
