My father worked with this photographer for a session here near downtown Houston. He is of older age and was communicating with them to get head shots done. They said they were available and open for multiple dates and each time they canceled his session! When I contacted them to see when we could reschedule their was no response and he has already paid! If you appreciate your time and money. Do NOT book this photographer!

Evoke photography is an amazing company. I'm familiar with their work and photography from working with them years ago as a wedding planner and I'm happy to say I got the opportunity to work with them during my own wedding. The process was seamless. They were flexible in the COVID date changes since we were supposed to get married in 2020 right before everything was shutdown and SUPER responsive to my emails and questions. Thomas was our photographer and he was nothing short of amazing.

He was prepared with his own emergency kit, timely, creative and he went above and beyond the call of duty. My bridal session pictures were amazing and we can't wait to see the wedding day photos.

Evoke did an excellent job with our museum wedding photos & video (not the easiest venue to shoot in by far). If you're in any doubt about getting videography, GET THE VIDEOGRAPHY! They created a beautiful, professional video that really captured the essence of the day. You won't regret it.

We hired Evoke for our engagement and wedding photos. Al did our engagement pictures and he was so fun, professional and full of creative energy. He brought out the best in us and specialized our photo location based on our input. We were thrilled when he was assigned to our wedding as well. Not only did he worked tirelessly to catalogue every moment, he created special moments that we will never forget, such as our first look and the reading of letters.

He also really knows how to pose a bride to bring out her very best. He was patient and a rock in the midst of the storm. Thank you Evoke, and thank you Al, our pictures are beautiful.

Al (photographer) and Daniel (videographer) were both amazing and did great work! The shots Al got were so perfect especially since it was such a rainy day. He was also such a joy to have at the wedding. All of our wedding party and family members loved working with him as well. Daniel was also so helpful and we absolutely love the video we received from Daniel that captured the entire day beautifully from beginning to end.

My wedding planner recommended Evoke and we are beyond happy with the results! We are blown away with the customer service, the quality, and the results! I used Al for my bridal portraits and Thomas for our wedding photographer. They were the perfect choices as Al helped me with posing and making sure to get my best angles while highlighting my dress and jewelry.

He took some really adventurous photos that highlighted our venue in such a cool way. Thomas was enthusiastic the day of, kept us ahead of schedule, gave great direction, and produced amazing photos. He even took the time to learn the names of our wedding party/close family. Everyone at our wedding mentioned to us how wonderful Thomas was to work with! Daniel was our videographer and we loved how the video turned out.

He highlighted our speeches, our vows, showed off our family and friends and gave us a perfect reminder of what happened on our big day. I also like that they include all the raw footage (which I haven't looked through yet), but I love that I forever can look back on so many important moments. Highly recommend!

Hallie is just the loveliest to work with! She shot our engagement photos and we requested her for our wedding photos as well, because of how fun and easy she was to work with, plus how amazing the engagement ones turned out that she took. The wedding ones were just. wow. Absolutely everything we could have wanted. She has such a talent, especially for candid shots.

The posing was minimal but felt natural and turned our very nicely in photos too. In terms of the company Evoke, they have been so easy to work with throughout the whole process. Their studio in Rice Village is beautiful, and when we visited to decide if we would book with them they went the extra mile by showing us photos they had taken at our actual venue previously to help us with planning.

They were very communicative and organized prior to the wedding, as well as after, such as during the photo album design process. They offer such great quality in both the photos and the people there. Truly loved having them as our photographers and 100% recommend with no reservations.

The Evoke team is great! Jason shot our wedding and Sara shot my Boudoir pictures. We love the pictures and Jason was a superstar the day of, very professional and able to run around to get every angle. We talked to so many photographers before finding Evoke. Sara made me feel comfortable and confident during our shoot, making much appreciated suggestions.

What we loved: they work as a small skilled team so it is not just one person (this means no worries if someone were to get sick and quicker turn around time), great portal to share all of our pictures with family, and a team available to answer any questions. What could have been improved: our group pictures had shadows on the faces and had some people covered so we did not love these as much as we did all of the other picture (but some parents tried adding in last minute group pictures so made this part hectic). I hands down recommend Evoke!

Sara Smith (Case). simply amazing! She did our engagement session, bridal session and our wedding. Not only is she very gifted in art of photography but she is kind, focused, complimentary and punctual. On our wedding day, my planner was late and very under trained. Things started to fall apart and Sara went above and beyond her job duty and took control.

If it weren't for her, I probably would have had a melt down. She kept me calm, made me feel beautiful and took charge of the day. Thank you Sara for caring so much and doing more than you were supposed to do to help smooth things out and make it fun for us. You really really are amazing even beyond your amazing work. It takes someone who really cares to do what you did for us!

Evoke is wonderful! They specialize in wedding photography and it shows! I had the pleasure of working with Sara for my engagement photos, and Al for my bridal portraits. Everything was beautiful and perfect! Thanet was my photographer for our wedding and the photos are absolutely amazing and he exceeded our expectations. It was chaotic at times and he was so patient.

Not only did he take beautiful photos, our guests thought he was great as well. Thanet captured every moment and every memory that we will forever cherish. Thank you, Thanet! I would HIGHLY recommend Thanet and Evoke photography to anyone! You will not be disappointed.

I have never experienced a photographer that was as willing to jump right in and become part of the group as Thomas Nguyen was. We had a large wedding party, and family, and he was able to get all the pictures we wanted. He also captured the most BEAUTIFUL pictures I have ever seen. I will use Evoke and Thomas for the rest of my life.
