As long as the painted portrait has been a part of recorded human history, it has been used to celebrate and honor important individuals. The subject's representation is always left to the artists' interpretation and doesn't always depict the true likeness of the person. As time has evolved, so have the tools available to artists.

I had entered a sweepstakes via their Facebook page during their 40th anniversary special, and because of life and COVID, we finally got to meet these terrific people in August of 2020. The ladies of Greer Portrait studio are AMAZING! We arrived to their studio on a Saturday morning, and they were ready to go with our family session. Leeann and Winnie were wonderful, not just with posing our whole family but also they knew exactly what to do to get our 2 and a half year old to cooperate to get more than enough good shots. Kelly was so kind, accommodating and patient of our little guy and thorough in going over our options.
She took the extra time to go over what they could offer, the price points, and reviewing our pictures that were taken the same day. It was a no pressure, very fun experience, and I can't wait to return for the next family portrait! This was my first time doing this sort of portrait, and you can bet that it won't be the last time. I can understand why this lovely family has been in business for 4 decades. Update: we've received our portraits and they are so good!
The portrait of our son hangs in our main room, and our infant LOVES looking at it. And so do we! Greer photography is top notch people with a top notch product and I can't wait to return for years to come!

What a fantastic place to go! They were very professional with my 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter and made it fun for them as well! Highly recommend this place for professionalism as well as a super clean place! I also love the fact they were so patient with the grandchildren! I'm excitedly waiting for our portraits! We won a photo session and small photo from their studio last fall. I was excited for the chance to get the entire family in matching clothes and a quality photo taken. The photo experience was wonderful! They captured my children's (8, 5, 3) little personalities perfectly. After the session, you have time to browse the different images and choose touch up options-all right there on a large wall so you can see everything.
The studio is pricey-but the quality of what you take home with you is every bit worth it. You can also choose frames there so that when you pick it up all you have to do is hang. So easy! We are happy we took the time, spent the money, and have a beautiful family portrait hanging now in our home. This is a family run business and it shows in all the small, meaningful ways. Kelly and her team were absolutely fantastic on our wedding day, and every day leading up to the event! She spent so much time working with us to really find our vision, and what specific shots we wanted during our big day. My husband and I never felt awkward or uncomfortable, which was a concern for us when we were searching for a wedding photographer. And our pictures are absolutely stunning! They perfectly captured the best day of our life! 10/10 would recommend Kelly to any bride!
