Sweet William Photo & Films is a full time photo and video business based in Albuquerque, NM. Since opening the doors of our studio in 2007, we have documented the wedding days of over 500 couples! Weddings are the focus of our studio, but our other specialties include head shots, family, commercial photography.

If you're trying to find a photographer for important photos, stop looking now and hire William! He is a true professional. I hired him for a bridal shoot And could not be happier with the images he produced. Additionally, despite the terrible wind and smoke from the recent fires, William directed us and expertly navigated the elements-a real pro. Plus, he's very thoughtful and took time to hear what my vision was and offer expert advice. We will certainly use him again! Can't share my photos yet because the wedding is still two weeks away, but I cannot wait to share these!

Will is such a talented and fantastic photographer to work with! Not only is he super friendly and open to suggestions, but he also has a keen eye for beautiful framing and photo editing. We worked with Will for our wedding and were so thrilled with the photos that we had him back for a family photo session (with baby) seven years later! I would highly recommend him to capture the magic of any special occasion or family portraits!

Sweet William Photography, helped to capture the true magic of my wedding! William was more that just a photographer though, he felt like a friend from the very beginning. As someone who is not very comfortable being photographed or in front of the camera in general, he made me very comfortable, happy, and cared for. Even when he had to tell me to "put my chin up" million times, he was patient and very kind.
His patience extended to every member of our wedding, including my handicapped mother-in-law. His pictures were above and beyond what I could've imagined, and he even managed to capture amazing photos of my four legged wedding party members! I would recommend William to anyone hosting a special event, because he will make it much more special and memorable!
He will make you feel like a friend, form a relationship wtih you, and go above and beyond! Thank you Sweet William for being so sweet! I'm so glad I hired him, and you will be too!

We looked at several photography options online and none of them felt right--( you're trusting someone with capturing moments for one of the biggest days of your life!) Then we finally found William and knew from the first meeting that this was our wedding photographer! He makes you feel comfortable which is much needed when taking any photos let alone wedding/engagement photos.
He and his team is professional, caring, and so talented! We even had a lot of rain during our outdoor reception and there was William capturing some fantastic rain shots that another photographer may have shyed away from. I cant say enough positive things so just take this as a sign that you just found your photographer! He is amazing!

I owe Will a very very over due review of all his services, talent, patience and time he has provided to my husband and myself. We initially were booking Will for our engagement photos only as we were getting married in Southwest Florida, Marco Island to be exact. After a meet and greet he offered us a quote for traveling and doing the wedding as well.
After comparing travel and board plus the photography we calculated Will to be way more reasonable than any vendor in SW Florida. So financially we were sold but we wanted to see how his photos and of course personality matched with ours. From the moment we saw him interact with our dog, which we had at our engagement photos we knew he was the one!
He was so easy to get along with which in my opinion is very important. You spend at least 75% of your wedding with the photographer or near and around him. All of our photos from the engagement photos in various breweries, Elena Gallegos Park, down to the beach in Florida were absolutely gorgeous. All were in different times of day, various lighting and venues and he honestly showed his talent and photography knowledge by executing perfect images every time.
Our wedding size was roughly 60 peoplewhich Will covered alone. Our priority was getting photos of my husband and less so of family. We also had a sun setting time constrain which Will handled very well getting us many shots in the 45 minutes we had. Lastly I have to add how patient he is with all the action, drama and hectic schedule of a wedding day.
I had a bridesmaid that was less than cooperative and Will was always respectful and courteous to kindly put the interest of my husband and I first. I'm not sure other photographers would be able to handle this in the manner that he did. He helped capture such an important moment in my husband's and I's life for that we thank him so very much.

I could not have asked for a better team than Sweet William Photo and Film! I have a gorgeous wedding album with hundreds of other photos on my computer and an incredibly beautiful wedding film that we will treasure forever. I'm so glad that I found Sweet William and would highly recommend you call him right now! As to his professionalism - poor William got dragged into some family drama that unfortunately comes with weddings and he handled it like a champ!
I feel like he's apart of our family now and look forward to keeping up with him and his work throughout the years. Thank you William, Benjamin, and John for capturing our wedding so elegantly!

If I could give more stars. My husband and I live in California, and recently got married in Albuquerque, New Mexico (my home town). I was planning this wedding not only in 6 months but also long-distance, so finding a photographer was a little tricky considering I couldn't meet with anyone face to face. I spoke to several photographers/companies over the phone that didn't seem to fit, before I spoke with Will, he was extremely knowledgeable and kind. An easy choice from the rest.
When it came to scheduling, Will was easy to communicate with and very quick to get back to me promptly. He was open to specific shots that I wanted done (first look, sunset, etc) and was very knowledgeable about how we should go about scheduling them. On my wedding day I was a ball of nerves. Will was very calm and easy-going; he was able to set my mind at ease and provided clear direction while he took pictures.
To say Will did an amazing job shooting our wedding would be an understatement! The pictures, our album, and our video were perfect! - More beautiful than we had imagined they could be. You can tell how passionate he is about capturing special moments - his true artistry - moments, most of which you didn't even know happened. If you hire Will, expect more than a handful of great shots.
Expect to be overwhelmed with many beautiful choices. My husband and I were to pick 60-80 shots for our album, which seemed impossible because Will had so many great shots (definitely more than 80); it was extremely difficult to narrow it down but he worked with us so we could have a little more in our album. (ya'll, it was hard to pick shots to add to this review! and of course you can see our video on his website!) After our wedding, my only regret is that my husband and I didn't get a chance to have our engagement photos done with him. I would absolutely recommend him! If you don't hire Will you'd be doing yourself a disservice.

When my husband and I first met William, we were immediately impressed with his soft demeanor and accommodating attitude. His prices were the most reasonable we could find in Albuquerque and he had some solid, quality work. We chose William because of his natural and creative photos. Our engagement photos turned out to be stunning and he was way easy to work with!
On the day of our wedding, we were impressed with his ability to capture every precious moment and do it in a timely and fantastic fashion. His partner was also pleasant and helped to capture all the little details that we all miss when we are going through the motions of the wedding because everything just goes by so fast! Once we received our wedding photos, they were breathtaking!
I highly recommend William if you want the more creative and natural look to your photos! He is easy to work with and has amazingly reasonable prices compared to the quality of photos you will receive!

The photography was the most important aspect for my husband and I as we went about planning our wedding, and Sweet William Photography didn't disappoint. He was professional and timely throughout the planning process, and on the wedding day he was early to the event and very willing to work with all our needs. The images were gorgeous and we get so many compliments on them.
Our wedding was special in itself, but Will was able to capture all the unique moments that made it "ours." I'm so glad we went with Will. if you're considering him, just do it! You won't regret it :
