Update to my review: I received communication from Brad and his team on Saturday to my issue below. They followed through and was able to provide me with the tracking info on my pictures that were reprinted and sent out to me. I truly appreciate how their team took the time to reach out and follow up with me on their day off. Thank you guys! I ordered pictures of my children on April 27th, and have yet to receive the photos.
I get that it's the busy season for them due to the end of the school year approaching, so I tried to delay reaching out to inquire about my photos. I ended up reaching out to the support email on 5/26/22 and was notified that the pictures were sent, but they would reprint and send with tracking and they also asked for me to confirm my address. (I have purchased pictures before and received them at my same address with no issues).
I confirmed my address on 5/26, and no one responded back to me. I then sent another email on 6/1/22 for a status update and have yet to receive any feedback. I sent another email this morning as my last attempt to receive my pictures. If I do not receive, I will be disputing the charges and requesting a refund. But in reality, all I want are the pictures of my kiddos.

This place is very unorganized. I had scheduled an appointment for my daughter's school picture, but they were always booked. I was able to find a day that works for us, yet the lobby was super busy and crowded. When we entered, there was no place to sit and it was such a tight squeeze to go inside. My daughter was later called to take her pictures inside the room behind the desk.
It was an open area for special pictures. After our time was finished, we had to wait again in the lobby where over 40+ people came. This was during the time when COVID numbers were rising, but not a single person in the room had masks on: the workers or customers, only my family. As our name was called to look at the photos, anyone could see them.
They leave the big screen computer on the right side of the room when you enter the doors. I felt like it was an invasion of privacy, but this place would probably never change their setups. The short lady (who looked to me like 5 ft) with a nose piercing on one side of her nostril wore baggy jeans, a jacket, and had a black ponytail. She was the one who showed us the pictures.
I did not like her approach to us at all. She felt super annoyed with everyone since the whole lobby was crowded. I understand that it was a busy day, but she had no right to give us an attitude. We asked her to flip to different pictures a little more because we had to choose the right photo that goes into the yearbook. Workers often get bothered when you ask them to review things again, which she was. Also, she yelled at my daughter who was texting on her phone because she thought she was taking a picture of the screen.
She covered the whole screen and told her off until she showed her the phone. She instantly regretted saying that, but did not apologize at all. Then, this ruined the whole mood. In addition, the room looked over to see what was going on in the corner since everyone is nosy. It was so embarrassing for us. I tried to be quick, so that we would not have to be in this gross environment anymore.
That to me was and still is very disrespectful to yell at someone else's child, especially when she was clearly in the wrong. Another instance happened with my other daughter's photo. She took retakes in her school and she handed them back the photos that she initially bought for them to replace. After 3 months, we finally got the mailed photos. However, we only found one picture in the mail.
I called them and told them about this, but they told me that they will send me the leftover pictures that were a new type of package since they changed their orders. This made me angry as I wanted the exact ones I bought, but they still gave me something different and not what I ordered online. Not to mention, they were supposed to give her photo to the yearbook teacher in time for it to change. Now, my other daughter is stuck with her original picture that she took and hates forever. Schools should find somewhere better for the students to take their photos, but they still stick with this place.
As a parent, I do not like this place at all and am finding somewhere better for my kids to take pictures for the yearbook. Also, I try to look for a loving environment with an exceptional staff where my child feels welcomed and not rushed.

The photo shoot went great. Getting the photos was awful. They are extremely expensive but we figured why not, it's our last senior, we'll get a package that includes the thumb drive of all the photos. When we went to make the announcements, ALL the photos were blurry. When I complained, it was because we didn't buy the high resolution thumb drive.
If I want that, it's an extra $200! That is literally extortion. Why they even offer a thumb drive with blurry photos is beyond me. I recommend ANY other photographer. Every one I've used either offers the thumb drive with all the packages, or at a very minimal fee and they are always high resolution. The only reason we even went to Grad's is because the school required us to for the senior pic for the yearbook. Do that only and nothing else. Unless, of course, you have more than $700 to spend on photos that should cost a fraction of that.

We had a wonderful experience with our high school senior. You can spend barely any money or hundreds, but they will treat you the same no matter what. They we efficient, professional, all the pics were amazing and it was so difficult to choose. Glad we able to also get the jump drive to use the pics later in our announcements with a few of our own photos.

The photos came out good. However, I paid 135.00 for session fees and other items which they said would go towards my order. What they didn't make clear is that discount was only good for 30 days. So when I place my order the code had already expired and there was nothing they would do. They know they have you over a barrel and they took advantage of it.
Why is there an expiration date as long as you order from them. Then, you only could choose 2 images or they added more charges. I spent over 500 dollars. It would have been cheaper and have more photo options to hire a photographer. Incredibly frustrating. For my next graduate, I will be going somewhere else. READ THE FINE PRINT OR THEY WILL SCREW YOU!

Terrible experiences two years in a row. I will note these are only through school. Last year was a huge obstacle ordering and when we finally got photos 2/3 of my children were cropped terribly, open space on one side and shoulder cut off on the other. 1 child blinked. Due to quarantine procedures we missed the makeup. This year, due to school quarantine procedures again, my youngest had to do the make up day.
We had gotten proofs of the older two but I didn't order until I could see the third. The year is almost over and I never received anything, despite asking the school and trying to contact through their website for a link. I get text reminders now for all three but with LAST YEARS PICTURES and no way to order THIS year. I have tried calling multiple days and their studio phone routes you to "corporate", whose voice mailbox is full and routes again to a "receptionist" that is the studio again!
I've emailed them twice with no response. Absolutely unprofessional and, frankly, the photos I want so badly aren't even GOOD. I will probably end up paying for "school photos" done at the end of the year elsewhere and never order from them again.

UPDATE: The owner reached out to me right away and offered to make things right. I received a new order of prints and they were perfect! Thank you Grads Photography! I just received my children's school spring photos that I ordered last week! However, they were bent upon receiving. I have ordered prints with this company before and they were mailed inside of a sturdy cardboard envelope, but this time they were not.
They were mailed inside of a thin paper envelope which allowed poor handling during shipment. I am happy with the quality of the photos and timeliness, but unhappy with the poor packaging.

Pre-ordered sports photos. They took 2 good poses and 1 pose that ended up having my sons eyes closed. They sent a picture package of my son with his eyes closed. : After reaching out they prioritized fixing it and expedited new photos. Im happy with the final result but I would recommend buying after pictures are taken so you can choose your preferred pose.

I wouldn't use them again. 1. It is difficult to get ahold of anyone by phone. 2. The photos were marginal. 3. Unless you live on the west side, it is very inconvenient to view your photos. You have to make an appointment to view them in person; or you can pay a $75 fee to view them online which is then used as a credit for any purchases. 4. I placed an order incorrectly (totally my mistake), I called 1 minute later and they refused to cancel the order. really? I get that it was my mistake, but would it really be that difficult and disruptive to your business to cancel an order that was placed 5 minutes ago?

I am going to edit this to say I appreciate the company reaching out and ensuring that I am able to order my daughter's pics. Super confusing, kids at the front couldn't answer any questions, haven't seen my daughter's pics yet so not sure how they turned out but the whole process is extremely confusing and I feel like they were not up front about anything. The photographer was nice and I did like all the poses which was quite a few for the sitting price.

My daughter's school used them and not once but twice to this day have not received photos that I paid for and missing out on memorable pictures and 4 month later for the 3rd time I get a email with a link to download and print MYSELF!? A waste of my money why would I pay for professional photos yet I now have to print and pay for them to get printed elsewhere and not the same quality

Seniors - Get your free yearbook photo and run! Very overpriced and dishonest. I was offered a discount code, which their online ordering system would not accept. When I let them know, I was told that the discount had expired and they refused to offer another code even though it was their system at fault. Wish I could give them zero stars. Hire your own photographer and get digital images you can print at a photoshop.

I don't usually write reviews but the unbelievably prices with photographers that don't try to help with poses or let you know if something doesn't look good. I took my senior pictures expecting to pay less than $60 because that was the highest price on their website, but during my viewing appointment I found out I had to pay $300 for just THREE pictures and if I wanted it "cheaper" I had to get a package which was an extra $115 and was completely not worth it.
On top of the very expensive prices the pictures seemed like they were taken on a horrible camera showing my acne worse that it is and to make it look better I had to pay a "retouch" that is $15 per picture. I also had to pay a $38 fee that I can't get back unless I buy a package because it's "the photographers time". This is unbelievable especially for a predominantly low income area.

RUN! Horrible customer service, I have been ignored, hung up on, lied to for over a month after they have my money and I have yet to receive my daughter's picture! They have also ignored my emails. Do yourself a favor and do not give them your hard earned money and give it to someone else that deserves it. It's been a huge headache.

This place is really cool. Has all kinds of indoor props and different areas that look like you are on location. The staff is (mostly) very friendly and helpful. Scheduling the appointment online was a bit confusing because when you get there, you see how having multiple changes would be nice. Also, pricing online is really just a SMALL deposit, compared to the prices you will pay for any of the packages but if you don't pick the bigger package, you can't add it on when you get there. But overall it was a good experience.

School pictures are a joke! These prices are outrageous. Got my daughters pictures in, little first grader and they couldn't take the time to tell her that her bangs were sticking up and all over the place!? No email address on their website. Just a phone number and I have difficulty hearing on the phone. Cost of their photos is not justifiable!

I am very disappointed our school chose your photography studio to do student pictures. I have always purchased a digital download and have done so from many companies over the years, but never at such an exorbitant price. I will not participate in the school pictures this year because of that. Also, you are asking parents to order online but then charge a convenience fee for doing so. What a racket!

I feel absolutely scammed. I'm a graduating senior and my school only allows their partnership with Grads Photography for the senior yearbook photo. So, I obliged and paid for a double which is 50$. I thought it was great, a beautiful headshot and full outfit photos! Mind you it did not say ANYTHING else about pricing just that I owed 50$ so im assuming at this point ill get a headshot and full body's for 50$ Anyways, so I head there and am immediately annoyed that I am given an ugly coverall for a beautiful dress (it doesn't even match and completely throws it off) all because of the straps on the dress yet theres girls who can wear off the shoulder shirts, right.anyways, then we move onto the actual rest of the photos, all goes well and the photographer is a lovely woman.
Then finally I get to pick my yearbook photo and surprise surprise the cardigan completely clashes with my dress and ruins the photos. So dismayed already I ask to view the full body photos but am told I have to schedule a viewing. I'm confused completely. I call to schedule a viewing after I leave and am told I have to pay $80 as a downpayment to go view the photos THEN when I pick which photos I like i'd have to pay MORE to then get those several photos.
So I obviously declined because this was NEVER told to me when I paid the original $50! I feel so scammed because I can't even view the full body photos. I'm beyond upset, id rather have gotten just the free headshot if I'd known they'd scam me like this!

Paid a booking fee upfront for my son's senior photos. The staff rushed him through then told us we would need to pay an additional fee to look at the photos. Also, they have signs all over the waiting room that they are hiring for all positions-- no experience necessary. I would hope a business charging $300+ for a few 5x7 photos would want to hire people with a passion and talent for photography.

Leo (photographer) was fantastic! He made an appointment my son was dreading into an experience he really enjoyed. He took time to get to know us and captured my son's personality. He was personable and humorous, and allowed us to have fun with it. We were able to participate in the pose choices and he showed us the results on his camera immediately. The staff were fun and professional and provided options based on our needs.

There is a reason I don't use studios for photographs and Grad Photography is the exact reason. Their set packages are stupid and the cost is outrageous. If you don't order a package the ala carte is way over priced. We were also mislead with incorrect information even though I asked twice for clarification, we were lied to. The ONLY reason we went here was because we were forced to for senior yearbook pictures.
This company rips families off, their prices are WAY overpriced. Looking forward to hiring a true professional to capture my son in a better way at half the cost. The photographer we were assigned to was very negative and the experience was kind of a bummer.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! My daughter just texted to tell me her yearbook photo is not in the yearbook! I brought her to Grads Photography to have her picture take for her high school yearbook. I called Grads and spoke to Cooper. He said that they send all of the pictures to the school in one file. I asked if he could check the file to see if her picture was actually sent.
First he said he didn't have access to that file. I said someone must be able to access that file and check it for me. I told him I wanted to know who was at fault, the studio or the school. If it is the studio's fault then I want my money back. Then he put me on hold. I waited for a few minutes and then was hung up on. I've tried calling back several times but it goes to voice mail, and the voice mail is full! All I wanted them to do was to confirm that the picture was actually sent. It can't be that hard!

Daughter had a fun time with all the different poses and props/backdrops. Prices are pretty high for the most part. Plan on 239 to 450 for most decent packages, some are more plus the extras you can get. Photographer was nice and did not make her feel rushed. Assigned a dressing room to keep stuff in and so outfit changes. Staff and others wore masks except for photo subjects while getting photos taken.

Omg, stop sending so many texts and emails! 6 emails and 2 texts today alone and this is AFTER I've already purchased and received my photos. This happens every week. I'd like to unsubscribe, however my kids will be in school for many years, so I'm sure I'll have to order school photos year after year.

Little piece of advise. if you have a graduating student needing senior pictures. DO NOT USE GRAD PHOTOGRAPHY! Use them for the school album and then that's it! Get your pictures done professionally elsewhere! After receiving tens of emails Frim them to order prints, I finally saved the exonerate amount of money to purchase but apparently I did not put in the right code and the $155 credit that I already paid did not get applied.
I called within 15 min at 6pm to cancel that order and redo it with the correct code. I was told it was now non refundable and that I could just use the credit towards more prints. I explained I did not need more prints, I needed the money I already paid toward these prints credited. I was told "nope" first by an associate then "nope" by store supervisor.
She said she would talk to the owner who is "a very busy man" to see what he says only to be reassured he will just tell me the same. I already paid half up front because I had it at the time. These are hard times and these graduation rituals are breaking us! Every penny counts right now! I'm so livid! In today's day and age, to tell me you can't do a re charge within 15 min of an order, that no one has begun working on, can't be done. I call BS and a rip off!

The only reason I give three stars is the photographer. I had the same one for both my son and daughter, twins, and she was great all around. Pricing all around is, for lack of a better word, a scam. VERY PRICEY. *First: Disappointed to learn they do not offer any kind of a discount for parents of multiples (twins, triplets, etc.). Most photo businesses will give a little something.
So the boxed in overpriced packages, and al a carte prices, are as is *times two or three* for the multiple parents. Believe me, again, it is VERY PRICEY. *Second: So overpriced that they are over what Disneyland charges for ALL DAY/FULL TRIP/ALL PHOTOS at HIGH RESOLUTION digital photo & print packages. Even trying to just bite the bullet to purchase all digital photos on usb/cd isn't worth it. It's either low resolution - which they make clear to you "Suitable for social media sharing but not printing" $149.00.or high resolution with a high price that hurts the wallet for even just one child $600.00 for all photos or $300.00 for three photos. *Third: It is this way for print & digital packages as well.
All print & digital packages are low resolution usb/cd for all photos with picking out prints, unless you purchase the most high end package of all. THEN you receive the HIGH resolution usb/cd with all photos. (SEE my attached photo.) What a scam. I guess they assume all parents/guardians are rich? What's worse is the school district my son & daughter are in state we HAVE to use them for Senior yearbook photos.
So I STILL HAD to use them & pay a booking fee for the appointment, for each child, to do the photo shoot. If you are in the same boat as I am regarding senior yearbook photos, do the damn head shot and body shot but skip the rest. The prices really do not make it worth it. especially if you are looking to hang their photos up or make invites or Christmas cards.
Find some other place that won't charge you a house & car payment for photos. IF your going Groupon/Discount of some sort - again, better check ahead to be sure you can afford their packages afterwards or you will pay dearly and feel scammed.

I received a text stating my appointment time was 5:30. I showed up 5 minutes early only to be told my appointment was at 5, and they didn't know why it said 5:30 on the text. They rescheduled me for 2 weeks later. They were "too busy to accommodate me same day." - and the lady I spoke to (a large lady with short blonde hair) had the WORST attitude. Horrible customer service. She was abrasive, rude and condescending. This is where the high school sent us to get the pictures done, but I WILL NEVER BOOK HERE! You shouldn't either!

This company is a huge disappointment. I received an offer via email so I called to inquire if I could purchase only 3 of the 11 photos a la carte outside of the offer, and the answer was "no". They want to box you into their overpriced offers. I was told the owner makes these decisions. Clearly the owner is inflexible and insensitive to the community at large.
The only reason we went to this studio is due to the contract with the school district for senior yearbook photos. The only way to contact this company is via phone, not easily accessible. I will be contacting the district as well. Don't use this company for anything outside of school photos. Customer service and satisfaction is clearly unimportant. There are too many talented photographers outside of this company waiting to serve you.

I have experienced rudeness twice with customer service. Attitude in person and on the phone. The photographer was awesome and made the experience pleasant. However, some of the staff need to learn how to talk to people. One came out of her office and was plain out rude. For the price and customer service, I would rather go somewhere else. School districts need to find another place than this one.

What a rip off! I was told that you could purchase the proofs for $200.00 but after pictures were taken I find out you have to purchase a package offer and the proofs are another $300 on top of what your order is. Be ready to spend hundreds of dollars just to get a couple of pics. If I hadn't already invested $160.00 just to get the pictures taken I would go somewhere else. This is a horrible rip off!

Probably the worst photography studio in Phoenix! I have had to deal with this studio for two of my seniors. At first I thought it was just a one time thing with my son so I used them again for my daughter. Boy was I wrong! They rarely answer the phone. They never respond to vm left on their machine. It takes them forever to process an order. There is rarely follow up to complete an order.
You have to hunt them down to get anything done. If you complain all they say is "sorry". Photos are very conventional. If you get stuck with an unimaginative photographer expect boring pictures with your kids just standing next to a year post that you actually had to tell them to use! Why a decent school district like PV contracts with them is beyond my understanding.
Go pay a private photographer save your time and money and most importantly aggravation from dealing with an organization who doesn't care about customer service! Still waiting on my daughters announcements! Maybe I'll get them by July!

I just got my daughters spring photos and they turned out wonderful (I might be a bit biased ). When I got the prints, it looked like a hodgepodge of sizes and not really a package, like I had ordered. I called this afternoon and after some investigating they decided to send me out a few extra prints for the trouble. VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! I look forward to receiving them and will edit later as an update!

Horrible experience. I paid around $800 for 16 5x7 and they added a $40 fee for retouching for a total more of $97. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. Especially for the quality. You can get a full disk 5 8x10, 8 5x7 and a disc for $400 at any professional studio downtown. They even gave me a hard time when I called back trying to order a senior frame. Place needs help in the customer service department. Website is terrible, never got my full sittings and main line doesn't talk to the studio. Down right annoying. Find another place.
