If you're looking around the site, you'll probably notice that there's a lot of commercial and portrait work here made for former clients. While I do take on some paid work from time to time based on the project, I have closed my photography business in order to pursue a different path. I am no longer in the business of photography. If you do have a project that you think I might be interested in, please feel free to contact me about it. Otherwise, I hope you simply enjoy my personal blog and the art I consider my passion not my profession.

Pinterest is an incredible tool that you should stop using as a 'Shot List' for your photographer. Don't get me wrong. I love Pinterest as much as the next hot-blooded American. It's a great way to find inspiration and new ideas about all kinds of things, but as a photographer, I can't think of anything more disheartening than a client who decides to use Pinterest to create a "Shot List" for our session. Used improperly, Pinterest hurts results, produces unrealistic expectations, and ultimately leads to disappointment.
It was my distinct pleasure to shoot a Fall Senior Session with Seymour High School senior, Stephanie Elford. Her mother, Sue accompanied and assisted in the session at the a park on the river, and we got some great images. Thank you both for being just awesome to work with. Here are a few of my favorite images.
Yep, I've just added merch to the page. You'll find all kinds of things in my store, including tshirts, hoodies, leggings, masks, gaiters, phone cases, mugs, beach towels, tapestries, throw pillows, toes, and yes, even fleece blankets. I'm proud of my family name and heritage. If you're an Armstrong, you should check out the Armstrong merch in the store.
