What to expect the day of the shoot. I offer each of my clients a one of a kind collection of photography. My approach is simple and honest as I strive to capture the personality of each subject and the essence of the moment. It is not every day you are the subject of a photo shoot. Being comfortable in front of the camera will allow your personality to be captured.
Location is an important factor in having a successful wedding or engagement photography session. Impressive locations make great backgrounds and great backgrounds help to make great photos. Usually I will ask my clients to select a few locations for their shoot. Then I will add a few nearby locations that are suitable and accurately reflect the desired mood.
A bridal shoot is just like an engagement shoot but you are in your wedding dress and suit, and it is shot on a day other than your wedding. The bridal shoot is designed for you to get you a collection of high end fine art wedding photography shot in the most beautiful locations the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

My wife and I had engagement and wedding photos taken with Robert and we are very happy with the experience. He knew how to take the perfect photos with great lighting and timing and was not intrusive at all. His pictures had a nice artistic touch as well. He sent us the full high res images which we were quite happy with. We would definitely recommend Robert for your photography needs.

Robert is truly an artist with his photography and captures the spirit of people in his photographs. We used him for my sister's wedding a few years ago and it was her and the groom's favorite part of the day. The wedding was outside Eugene so Robert actually went down and scouted out spots for photographs and they went on an adventure taking amazing pictures.
Last year Robert did our family photos and they were WONDERFUL! Even with a crabby 2 year old they turned out amazing and a couple of the candid shots of us walking are my favorite pictures I have of my daughter. We will use him again for family photos and highly recommend

Robert was so great to work with. My wife and I did both an engagement shoot and our wedding day with Robert and we had such a good time with him on both occasions. He was very easy going, listened to our input on the style we were looking for, helped us be comfortable during the shoot (which is very important), and was all around very easy to work with. Just getting around to writing a review but Robert photographed our wedding back in 2013. We couldn't be happier with the results and having digital copies provided helped placate parents asking for pictures. The engagement photo session was a blast and all of the photos from our wedding and reception turned out great. All the advice he provided was taken to heart, much to our benefit. I can't recommend Robert enough

So glad that we chose Modern Art Photography for our engagement shoot and Wedding. We have only done the engagement shoot so far, but already am happy to recommend Robert to anyone. No one has worked harder for us up until this point, and really made this process completely easy. The biggest thing that my fiance asked for during this engagement time was an easy, relaxing process towards our wedding.
Nothing can be more stressful than vendors you cant get a hold of or feel bad asking for information or services. Robert will respond immediately to any message you leave him, and was happy to do whatever we asked of him. Our engagement shoot was on a Saturday, and he provided a link for us to view the edited pictures on MONDAY! The pictures were amazing, and he sent BOTH of us a hard copy of the pictures later that week.
He is very professional, definitely makes you feel comfortable taking pictures and allows you to just have fun. On top of that, he is a great guy. Very happy with Modern Art Photography!
