I was so so nervous taking my headshots after years of being away from the camera but Michael was so professional and made me feel comfortable with myself. He has a real sense of what works for your look and directs you throughout the shoot. If you're new to the business like me then you definitely want a photographer who is going to guide you and make you feel seen. I am very happy with my experience.

Micheal Roud was fantastic. His first question to me was, "do you want to look interesting or do you want me to make you look good?" I wanted interesting because I want to stand out and I believe he has accomplished that. He asked me to really think about the characters I wanted and would get cast as. This was incredibly helpful because the more I thought about how the character acted the more it read in the photos.

The turnaround time on the photos was also excellent. I do wish I could've seen some of the outtakes, but it is quite alright that they are forever hidden. I highly recommend Micheal Roud Photography!

Michael Roud Photography The best headshots in the US. From my perspective, experience with Michael shooting my headshots, I can say this is one of the best photographers you can find on the internet. This is not just a simple headshot capture pics but more importantly, brings your image into what represents you. The only downside about this photoshoot is expensive but again you pay for quality but worth every penny because it will help you for your purposes.

This was my 1st time getting headshots and I am BLOWN AWAY! Michael and his team had me feeling and looking incredible! I am so looking forward to seeing the final pictures and to continue working with Michael again. Trust me. LOOK NO FURTHER! You found the perfect photpgrapher.

I had a wonderful experience shooting my headshots with Michael. He really listens to what you want. I am a very particular person and I came to the shoot wanting very specific looks, I knew exactly what I wanted and he understood that and fully delivered! My experience with Michael Roud photography was amazing from the start. They fully prepare you for the day of your shoot, have excellent videos and articles to help guide you through your preparation, and you know pricing up front. The actual shoot was fantastic. Michael is so warm and super collaborative. He wants to help you stand out in castings and in front of agents, so he is very intentional and thoughtful about the types of shots he thinks will work for you.

My Manager really wanted me to shoot with Michael. I wasn't familiar with his work but I checked him out online and definitely liked what I saw. His images tend to "pop" off the screen. Working with Michael and his crew was such a fantastic experience! Penelope did my hair and makeup and she was an absolute charm. I could tell from the very beginning that Michael cares about his work and wants the best for all of us. We went over wardrobe choices and what I wanted to accomplish from this session. He does an awesome job making you feel like you are part of the team.

He's very down to earth and gave off such amazing energy that was present throughout the whole shoot. His authentic approach to bringing out emotions through the eyes was great as well. Before moving on to other looks, we briefly went over the pictures to make sure that I was satisfied. This is not your LA discounted headshot photographer for 10 looks for $10.95. Therefore, you will appreciate his keen eye to detail, his vast knowledge working behind the camera on movie sets and even writing and producing movie scripts in his downtime. Lastly, this man knows amazing shooting locations around LA to produce the perfect background for my GF photoshoot. *You won't be disappointed
